This is a pricey product and you don't get a lot of product for the price... but, if you have pores, this is a dream. It hides pores like no other. It minimizes the look of pores and leaves your skin looking flawless. The finish is matte. Also, you don't need a lot if you're just using to cover specific areas i.e. nose. You need to finish with a powder to set or it won't last all day. But, it's a great primer -

This gives an even coat of black mascara which doesn't clump and is easy to wash off. I don't feel that it holds a curl though. So, if you need it to hold a curl, I wouldn't expect this one to do that. It does, however, volumize and lengthen. The other thing is that it is not a waterproof mascara. I would definitely consider this though. It's a really good mascara -

I love ELF! This is another great product from them. This lipstick is completely matte with no shimmer/glitter. You should first prime lips with a lip balm and a lip pencil (like the Urban Decay 24/7 lip liner in Ozone) to make it last as long as possible. Or else, any matte product tends to be drying and will show any unsightly lines in your lips. The lip exfoliating product from ELF can also help with that. The packaging for this lipstick is very nice - it's actually a retractable pencil. Some of the shades can look very natural as if it's your own lip colour, but better. I like to top off lipstick with gloss, but you don't need to. The colour is very long-lasting and goes on smooth. It will feather, like most lipsticks do, after eating and drinking. But, using lip liner and lip balm beforehand will help with that and the drying factor. I highly recommend this! And will purchase again. For 1.50$ during a 50% off sale, this is definitely worth it! -

They can get quite dry. In the beginning, they were greasy leaving an oily residue behind that I had to use a cleanser to remove. It was very uncomfortable. I don't like that there is such a strong fragrance included because it just smells like chemicals. -

A little about my skin: I have dry skin that's prone to irritation and redness. My skin tone is uneven because I neglected to use sunscreen for years because I easily break out from most sunscreens. When I saw the description for these products, it just sounded perfect for my skin type.
So, for my review... First things first, this cream smells amazing. I want to say this almost smells like peach, but it also smells floral. I know fragrances in skincare/cosmetics is not a good thing because that means there's unnecessary chemicals added that could irritate the skin or cause breakouts. But, I am a sucker for scents. I la-la-love the smell of this one. Sometimes, I can't resist but open the jar to get a whiff of it. I would wear this scent if it was a perfume, that's how I much I seriously love it. Also, I have not broken out from using it so I don't think the fragrance is a deterring factor from me purchasing this serum again.
The packaging is to die for. Pink and silver. The pump works well. It's so convenient for applications. I found this serum to be extremely moisturizing, even more so than the gel-balm. It absorbs quickly into the skin. Afterwards, there are little micro-glitters left behind. It creates an iridescent base for which you can build with foundation or BB cream. Used with the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep, this is hydrating enough for even the colder days. I think it does a great job of adding moisture and acting as a barrier for the skin from all the climate changes. Even after a long day, my skin feels great. I find with this as a base, my BB cream/foundation goes on quite easily as well. For my dry skin, this serum is just right - not heavy or greasy, yet hydrating. It gives my skin a dewy, glowy look that I love. While the Skin Sleep is a bit too heavy/greasy for combo-oily skin types, this one would work well with most skin types. It keeps my face feeling soft and hydrated until the next morning after 10 hours of sleep and throughout a long day. I would definitely recommend this! It isn't cheap, but 1oz of serum is enough to last you 3+ months if you apply twice daily. And 5 months if you apply once a day, I think the best effects are when you use this serum once in the morning and once at night though. I plan on purchasing again. I think you'll find it's free any parabens, mineral oils... and fragrance is at the very bottom of the list. Very few irritants as well. I would strongly consider getting this serum - for a high-end product, the price is not bad.
