Unfortunately in our town, Canadian Tire is the only store of it's class. I still shop there occasionally, but only if I absolutely have to. The products are average, the prices are average, but the customer service is down the dumps. Their return policy is in place, but almost impossible to get a return on some items. Their price matching is hard because half of the time the employees don't believe the customer even with proof of a newspaper. I would just much rather spend my money in a store that is going to treat me with respect. Welcome me to the store. Say hello when I walk up to the till. Don't treat me like a thief watching my every move. Until Canadian Tire chances their customer service policies, I will shop elseware. -

I am in love with my Canon Rebel XS. It is in the same love category as my children and husband......ok maybe not, but you get my point. I love that the Canon Rebel isn't uncomfortably huge. It's still large with the lense, but not like some of the other cameras. It feels like a smaller camera, has the easy to use buttons of a compact camera, but the quality of pictures are like pictures taken from a couple thousand dollar camera. I am able to take it to the kids sporting events and get pictures as they zoom by. I am able to take pictures of the kids at christmas concerts when I've been forced to sit at the very back of the gymnasium in the nose bleed section. I'm able to take pictures quickly when the kids just don't want to sit still. I'm a bit computer/electronic illiterate and find this camera very easy to use. I recommend this camera to anyone looking for a good reliable camera! -

Chopsticks Restraunt in Castlegar BC has the best food EVER! We only go there occasionally because as a family of four, it gets quite pricey, but the times we have gone, the food has been exceptional. My two young children also really like that you can watch the sushi being made right at the sushi bar! My only advice is to make reservations! Word gets around quickly how great the food is and most nights the tables are full with people waiting. -

The Colander Restraunt in Trail BC is a must have, at least once in your lifetime! People who have lived near or around Trail BC always seem to have to eat there on their trip back home. The food is pretty tasty, the price is decent for all you can eat, and the quality of service is always pretty good. My only complaint is that sometimes, there's a bit too much fat in the sauce and the food comes out as fast as it goes in (sorry sorry TMI I know!). But if your ever in the area, go to the Colander Restraunt and try some traditional italian food! Just like nona used to make! -

Oh iphone 3G, how I love thee. I got my apple iphone 3G last year when I signed on for a three year contract with telus mobility. I absolutely love it! There are so many applications that are available for a small fee. The applications are so great because they are usefull every day. I especially like the ebay application because it has a bar code scanner that allows you to search for items via the barcode which comes in really handy when pricing out items at the store. The camera takes pretty decent pictures too so that's defenitely a bonus when you have children who always do the funniest things when you've forgotten the camera at home. I will defenitely stick with the iphones for future purchases as long as they are as reliable and usefull as the iphone 3G. -
