Silli SQueeze is a reusable silicone feeding pouch that has become my favorite way to give applesauce and other types of pureed foods! They have two different size pouches that you can choose from. The colors are fun and bright. They are easy to clean, by just unscrewing the lid and placing in the dishwasher, all food comes out in the wash. They are spill proof,. I like to fill them with whatever snack the night before in the summer and freeze them so they defrost while we are out at the park. These are my favorite feeding accessory. I have been using them for almost 2 years now. -
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water All-In-1 Normal and Sensitive Skin Cleansing Water
The waterproof Micellar works much better for me, however both are great face cleansers. They remove makeup, grease, eyeshadow, eyeliner ect. I have been using this product to cut down on my morning and night time regiments.

Don't forget your quarter or reusable shopping bags when venturing out to Aldi for the first time. There is a slogan from them that says " WE COULD PRICE MATCH, BUT THEN WE'D HAVE TO RAISE OUR PRICES!" The food quality on most items that is Aldi brand taste better then the name brand counterparts. The savings are unreal. -

Ingredients in baby products-"The chemicals in question are 1,4-dioxane, a byproduct of the manufacturing process, and the preservative formaldehyde, which is slowly released by a chemical called Quaternium-15 to kill bacteria. According to the Environmental Protection Agency, 1,4-dioxane and formaldehyde both are probable human carcinogens; formaldehyde also is a skin, eye and respiratory irritant."
I do not purchase nor support Johnsons and Johnsons. And frankly neither should any mother who is concerned with the health of their child.

I started cloth diapering to save money, not spend $30 a diaper (although I do have a few customs). At $3-8 each Sunbaby Diapers are a fantastic buy. They do come in two sizes, for the chunkier babies vs the skinnier ones like I have. I was able to use both sizes with no leaks however once her thighs got a bit on the chunkier side. My daughter was so skinny that the size one diaper did not fit perfect until about 9 lbs. The size two diaper fit perfect at about 12 lbs. The prints are fun, and changing constantly on the sunbaby website. You can buy these particular cloth diapers in a variety of ways, direct from the website, through a co-op, on BST sites through facebbok, ebay or in your local cloth diaper store. I do prefer the bamboo inserts you purchase in addition as opposed to the microfiber inserts. They hold quite a bit more fluid. -

Living in the DC area offers a chance to go to the National Zoo- which is amazing- however an hour away lies the Baltimore Zoo- incredible place in its own right.
The Baltimore zoo is on a smaller scale than some of the other zoos I have attended, however it is quiet amazing. The childrens zoo offers a petting area with goats, that you can brush. There is a two story barn that has a slide built into the Silo. (it says for ages 5-12 but my daughter and her friend both 2.5 LOVED it. The children's zoo area also has a swamp poond you can walk through, with lily pads in the water to step on. There were birds swimming in the water, with different species around us. As you proceed down the path you Come across large tree stumps and inside of them are the different small animal, insects, and reptile exhibits. One of the tree stumps offers a HUGE slide from the top.
The food was decent, not terribly priced, the carousel was only $3 per ride per person.
The penguin exhibit was incredible. and we were able to watch them up close swim and play.
If you are in the metro DC area, this zoo is not to be misses!

I have been babywearing my daughter from 3 days old. At 2.5 she still loves her uppies and will go and get my Toddler Size Tula when she wants me to carry her. I have a terrible back, so I do not often where here in front because it does become a bit sore from it, however with my Tula, I can carry her for hours on my back. I use the Tula cleaning, walking, working, hanging out with friends, shopping when she needs a nap. I have used my Tula to get through the airport, and used the stroller to transport all our goods. I enjoy being able to hold her close, and the cuddles we share while she is in the carrier. The fabric is amazing, and available in many different designs that are constantly changing. You can get a wrap conversion or canvas panel, it depends on your preference and price point. I chose a canvas panel because the print I wanted was only available in canvas. I highly reccomend the Tula Brand and if we get pregnant again I will be buying another one in standard. -
