I am on a mission to find a dark grey not charcoal eyeliner. I bought this in the hopes it would be but unfortunately it is more silver than grey and glittery/shimmery. I wanted matte finish as I feel personally that shimmery/glittery don’t suit this 43-year old’s wrinkly hooded eyes. I can see people who are going to festivals wearing this. My search continues. Don’t get me wrong it is a great eyeliner, it goes on smooth without pulling the eye or jumping and leaving gaps. The tip allows you to apply it close to your lash. -

I have Dyshidrotic Eczema which affects my hands and feet especially when I am stressed or feeling low. When it is at its worse, I must use a steroid cream and change what I wash my hands with as some handwashes can make it itch worse. This is one of my go to products when I have a flare up as it doesn’t contain SLS which I have noticed that can not only dry out my hands but also make them feel tight and sore. With the combination of the steroid cream and using this handwash my flare up doesn’t last as long as it has in the past. Instead of a month it is usually under control and gone within that time. The handwash doesn’t strip or dry out my hands. They feel comfortable and not needing to reapply hand cream as much as I would have to when using other handwashes. -

In this heat this is the perfect product in the spray bottle but unfortunately, I have the bottle that you pour out the required amount. And it lives in my fridge – no I am not posh enough to have a skincare fridge, it just lives in my normal fridge. Why, because it helps with the itchiness of my skin from the day and night’s heat. Not only does this help with the itchy skin it also helps to reduce the heat and stickiness of my skin. I use it morning and night after cleansing my face with Cleanse and Polish. My skin feels softer and plumper after using it. Some days I feel as I don’t need to apply my moisturiser if I am stopping in the house. On the days that I am out and about I will apply my UltraSun 50+. I use a dry cotton pad and wipe it all over my face, neck, décolleté and behind my ears as I find I am perspiring there too. If I had the spray bottle, I would spray my face whenever I felt sticky and hot. -

I think this year I have tried old favourites and have fell back in love with them. This is another one of those. Not only is it a lovely exfoliator on its own, but when used with the cleanse and polish it just gives a more satisfying clean to my skin. Whether I am using it with Cleanse and Polish or in its own I only use one pump which is enough to exfoliate my face, neck and décolleté. It can be splashed off, but I prefer to remove it using a damp muslin cloth as I can make sure I have removed any leftover jojoba beads. This, to me, is not one of those harsh scrubs that contain apricot kernels but a creamy and thick that allows me to work on those areas that feel a little rough and bumpy. As I have sensitive skin, I use this only once a week with or without the cleanse and polish and as my morning cleanse as I have found that my skin responds better to it in the morning than at night. This enables me to massage it into my eyebrows and gently over my eyes. Since doing this I don’t get the red flaky patches of skin on my eyes like I have done in the past. I have been following it with Liz Earle Instant Skin Boost and Ole Henriksen C-Rush Brightening Gel Crème. -

I have previously used this and having been diagnosed with Dry Eye and MGD, I hoped that this would help keep my eye area clean and moisturised. I use it as part of my skincare routine in the morning and evening and as compress when my eyes feel sore, tired and itchy. As part of my morning routine it helps remove sleep from my eyes. During my evening routine it helps make sure that I have removed my eye makeup and keep my eyelashes clean. I keep one in my drawer and another in the fridge to use when I need a compress. It is cool and soothing to my eyes and since using it regularly I have attached the noticed that the symptoms of Dry Eye and MGD are under control if not improved. This will stay in my skincare routine and as part of the arsenal for helping me keep my Dry Eye and MGD under control. -

I have used this product in the past and have seen comments that the formulation has changed. I think that the change is for the better, to me it seems more luxurious than before and the fragrance isn’t as overpowering. I may have said other cleansers are the best cleanser I have used but I will admit this is really the one for me. I have used it in my twenties, thirties and now my forties. I love the fact that it is applied to dry skin as I can massage into the areas that I feel special attention for example my eyes. I was worried that this may irritate my eyes, but I should not have worried. I use one pump and that is enough to work into my face and neck I use this time to massage my face as there is enough slip to do it. I start with my eyes if I have mascara on and then move to the rest of my face and neck. I remove with the muslin cloth that came with the Cleanse and Polish. Using a clean area, I wipe with one finger gently around my eye area changing to a clean area until it is clean and then move to my other eye. Once I have done this, I then wipe the cloth all over my face neck and behind my ears. I prefer the water to be tepid rather than warm as I have noticed my redness is reduced. Once I have removed it my skin feels soft and is not calling out for moisture. My rare hormonal spot disappears the next day after using Cleanse and Polish. Also, if I cannot stand for long periods due to my back spasming, I can sit on my bed, apply it then remove it with a damp muslin cloth. I love to use Cleanse and Polish as both first and second cleanser when double cleansing after wearing makeup. I promised my skin I won’t change my cleanser again – until I see something, I like more likely. -

I have used this product for many years, I have tried others like this, but I never have the same results, so I keep going back to it. Why? When I had long hair, which would take an hour to dry with a hairdryer or over night if I wanted to let it dry naturally, this product would reduce the time by about half the time. I would apply about three pumps now my hair is short pixie type cut I use one pump and leave it to dry naturally, my hair feels soft is manageable and looks in great condition, its shiny. Also, any tangles I have when I had long hair or now they brush out easily using either my fingers or a brush. If my hair is feeling dry after a day in the sun, I will apply a pump and massage it through there is no residue my hair doesn’t feel sticky just hydrated. Yes, I would re-purchase this – I have and will continue to because my hair likes it. -

This is part of a starter kit. I bought this as I had noticed that my skin felt dry and tight. It hurt and uncomfortable. Within the first use of this I could feel the tightness and dryness ease. Over the next few days I could see and feel a difference in my skin. I like to remove it with a damp muslin cloth. Its consistency is great for massaging into areas that are feeling dry or sore. I think I have found my new cleanser. -

This is part of a starter kit that I bought from Boots. At first, I was a little worried that a can even though small would not produce a fine mist. I should not have worried; the mist is that fine that I didn’t realise that I had some left on my skin when I applied my moisturiser. To me, this means that my skin really needed it. It can be applied over make up and not worry about the make up running. This can is the can that you need in every bag that you have with you when you are out and about even in the cold damp weather that the UK is suffering from at the moment because it will cool you down when you are a little flushed from embarrassment or coming into warm dry air from cold damp air. I will be repurchasing this and cannot wait to see how my skin responds to it in the summer as I have permanently flushed in the warm weather. -
