Does it burn for a minute when I apply it? Sure.
Has my uneven, oily, bumpy skin improved since I started using it?
Yes it has.
I apply this with a cotton pad after removing my make up and then brush my teeth then apply my moisturizer last.
I never use it in the AM because I use vitamin C serum and wouldn’t want to mix the two.

I needed something heavy for my combo, acneprone, sensitive skin in winter, and found this was great. I used it all winter with no problems. Fast foward to May and I started getting itchy, congested skin with a few little red bumps, it's too much for my skin in the warmer months, but I will keep this for dry winters.
I wish that the big tub in my set was replaced by a big squeeze tube.

This product was my holy grail! But companies like tor reformulate and mess up a good thing! The bottle had changed and then I compared to my old bottle and so had the ingredients, I hoped it would be an improvement but alas I had to switch to a different company. I hope one day to try again and maybe by then they will have reformulated back. -

This product didn’t do anything a 2$ hair mask couldn’t do.
Not a fan of the scent.
I got this product because I do have a Joico hair mask that is actually great and doesn’t have these ingredients, it’s like they are regressing.

I did like the way left my hair but it’s main ingredient is dimethicone, so it’s all temporary!!
Silicone will weigh the hair down, making it limp, lifeless, and, with time, very dull. It prevents moisture from penetrating the hair shaft and becomes like a magnet for dirt and other ingredients. So in essence, we get a good shine for a couple of days, but over time it will attract more buildup on the hair. With time it will dry the hair out because it won’t allow in the conditioner and it ends up sitting on the surface. Due to lack of moisture, the hair will become very brittle and could lead to frizz and breakage

I feel like lots of companies and products are going green and while this product did deliver smooth soft hair, it does not change the fact that they are still not even trying to go that route. Which is fine but I am trying to cut out chemicals such as fragrances and dyes. The fragrance In this wasn’t even nice. I wouldn’t replace my natural products with this one. -
I really do like the way this makes my wavy/curly long thin hair. BUT I feel like there is just too many unhealthy ingredients in it, I try to go as natural as possible when I can. If you are into using these types of hair products, I would say give... +

Sadly, another sunscreen that doesn't work for me. I started by wearing it every few days off and on, because I've had bad experiences with sunscreens causing reactions. It seemed okay, then I wore it daily for a week and developed a really bad rash on one side of my face. I got the same rash when I was wearing the Tarte bb primer, which used to be fine and causes a rash. I don't know if it was this for sure, but it's the only thing that changed in my routine, and hasn't happened again since I returned it. Also it's pricy, and watery and on my oily skin I couldn't wear it alone, needed to wear under oil control fdtn or with powder. -

I've been wearing this for a few years, tried things in between but always come back to this. I need something matte and long wearing that doesn't break me out or clog my pores. I have oily, large pores, acne prone skin btw & I can't use anything with SD alcohol aka alcohol denat. because of my sensitive skin.
Tarte - Breaks me out
Revlon Colorstay - Old formula used to be HG now it's just bad
L'oreal Infallible - Cakey no matter how I applied it
Marcelle Matte BB - Oily on me
Naked Skin - Didn't last
MUFE mat velvet + - Caused overload of oil production
Nars luminous - I was luminous alright
Nars TM- greasy mess
Laura Mercier TM - Greeeease lightening
Too faced Peach - Looked dull and broke me out after a week of daily wear
... anyways you get the idea, nothing works for me. I continue the hunt for something less heavy duty that can control my oil or at least not leave me looking messy, until then I wear ELDW on the daily. Winter I am Sand, then in summer I am the shade Tawny or Rattan.
This is best applied with a brush or sponge - fingers work in a pinch but it doesn't blur/fill as well

Turns out I can’t use this on my face, I tried on more than one occasion only to realize it was causing large cystic zits on my chin and jaw area. Love it for my body in the summer, winter it’s not moisturizing enough and I go through it way to fast having to reapply. -
