Many weight loss powder drinks have this strange consistency and chalky taste to them. This was not an exception. I would not say it has been the worst I have tried, however. These are supposed to be meal replacements, yet it never made me full enough to not be hungry – it even boasts 4 hour hunger control. Perhaps with longer use, my body would naturally adjust and lessen the cravings, but using this initially would be a struggle. If I stuck with it, I would also prefer to use the liquid bottles. This is a pricey product to buy and continue using, so I was expecting more for the claims.

I have lots of small scars from being a mechanic in the military. I have another couple of good ones that I have from childhood and generally being clumsy. I cannot make a claim as to how this works over the long term without longer testing, but it looks promising so far! It is suggested to continue using at least 8 weeks for noticeable results and I have only had it for one. I had to look up more information. I was happy to find out I could just layer smaller pieces on my scars instead of putting the entire sheet and having to continue purchasing to layer as the instructions suggest. While a sheet of this product is expensive, I liked that I could cut it up and use it as and where I needed. The sheet works well even on curved areas of your body. If you have oily skin or tend to sweat in areas that this is placed, it does have an issue staying on, so be aware of that before you waste product.

I have had sensitive teeth on an off ever since I had braces in my youth. Sensodyne was the brand recommended to me and continues to be my favourite for sensitive dental products. It works well in keeping most of the pain away while brushing. This has a foamy formula with a mint taste. It has the tendency of getting super foamy, but if you use the proper amount of product you shouldn’t have that issue. Even though this says deep clean, I don’t find that it cleans as well as other toothpastes, but it is good for a normal clean, and shortly freshens your breath.

I never realized that dry shampoo was a common product until I hit my early 30’s – I guess I was just that clueless. I often used baby powder to get the same effect of absorbing day(s) after wash hair. So, it wasn’t until the last few years until I started trying dry shampoos.
For a little background on my hair: it is thin, straight, flat, and never holds a style. Due to this, normally I wear it up or suck it up and wear it down all boring like. I am always quite skeptical of volumizing hair products simply because they hardly ever work for me, so when I was chosen to review and sent a bottle of the new Batiste Heavenly Volume Dry Shampoo thanks to a ChickAdvisor campaign, I was hoping to find a winner.
The product is packaged in a bright and colourful metal aerosol can. The nozzle is textured on top for a nice grip when spraying and I found (so far) that it has not allowed product to excessively build up and clog from use. This is a scented product, so be aware of that if you normally avoid those. It has a light sweet and powder smell to it, which does linger on your hair.
A concern when using dry shampoos is always the white cast the product leaves when spraying it on your hair. The Batiste Heavenly Volume Dry Shampoo is no exception to this concern. If you have blonde hair, you might not have an issue, but if you’re a brunette, like myself, or any other hair colour, you’re going to notice this. With that being said, you can still work with it and be fine. In fact, I found the only real problem with this (for me), was the amount of static my hair had when using this.
The first time I used this Dry Shampoo, I used it on 2-day hair. It worked well to add a bit of volume while I wore my hair down. I didn’t mess too much with styling or teasing to just see the effect of a small amount. Since my hair wasn’t entirely oily yet, I didn’t notice any cons other than needing to work to make sure the white cast didn’t linger, and that it was slightly staticy.
When this first arrived, I was on day 3 hair (2nd day without washing). There was a white cast, which went away after allowing the product to absorb and working it into the roots. It worked well to add a bit of volume and I loved the amount of oil it absorbed. I didn’t mess too much with styling or teasing to just see the effect of using it. There was volume that stuck around through the day, even without teasing. Overall, it ticked the boxes of volume and oil absorbing; My hair smelled great too!
I normally can go about 2 days after washing and using product before my hair starts to become oily. This time I waited those two days and then used the Batiste Dry Shampoo again. So here we were on day 3 again and I wanted to try keeping my hair down. I could do so but it took quite a while to get my hair manageable. After rubbing the product into my hair after allowing it to absorb oil, I was left with slightly tangled and textured hair, but not in a cute I can leave it this way and be fine kind of way. I had to brush the ends and there was SO MUCH STATIC to my hair! I tried combing the opposite sides ends and same thing. I was forced to use anti-frizz product, which took a lot of the volume back out of my hair, but at least I didn’t look like Cousin It had touched a light socket.
I am torn about this product, but I think I will continue to work with it because I love the volumizing results and have the time to correct the downfalls. I can see myself using this for creating more updos, but when not styling and staying home, I think it will be of benefit as well. I would still recommend it, as my experience might be different to yours, as far as the static goes, which was the only real negative for me. Below is my quick breakdown, as well as some tips.
PROS:
Lovely light and fresh smell
Volume promise fulfilled
CONS:
White cast (workable if you use properly)
Static (perhaps only for certain hair types?)
Scented (downfall for some who don’t like fragranced products)
Tips to remember:
Spray a few inches away from your head
Spray in short bursts
Let the product sit on your hair for 1-2 minutes
Massage into scalp – bonus volume if you flip your head over while doing so
Avoid heavy brushing/combing if possible to retain more volume
Thank you again to Batiste and Chickadvisor for giving me the opportunity to test this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion.

If you have oily skin, this product is for you!
Over time this does a decent job at reducing the overall amount of oil your face produces. There is no scent to this, which is great. When applying, there is no stinging sensation, even on areas with active breakouts; it doesn’t leave you feeling sticky either. This is a bit think, but absorbs into the skin fairly quickly and creates a nice smooth area on your skin to apply makeup over, just like regular primers. In fact, I would suggest wearing this without using a primer.
This has some decent ingredients in it, which is probably why it has a hefty price tag, but I think that it is worth it. Ingredients such as Tea Tree oil and willow bark seem to help as a type of acne combatant while using this regularly.
I would advise staying away from this if you have dry skin as it will more than likely make your situation worse.

I used to use these on literally everything - every room, every object, and to disinfect every mess within reason of course - bleach isn't good on everything). I don't buy the value packs anymore as you get more in single tubs and I've kind of phased out using these for homemade green cleaners.
With the wipes, it's better if you wear gloves because the chemicals will dry out your skin and if you already have dry skin, your fingers will peel. Also it seems that they are not as saturated as they used to be, so sometimes cleaning will require multiple wipes.
They're still great for quick cleanings and wipe downs though! Just make sure if you are using these on a surface where you prepare or eat food that you go over the area with a wet (water) sponge or cloth so the chemicals don't transfer to your food.

If you're into highly processed drinks, you'll like this one! Good luck finding it though because it looks like it wasn't selling well and they pulled it out of many retailers - I don't remember the last time I saw this while shopping. I have a family member who drinks a lot of this and had to call to find a location, so you could try that.

You would expect an iced tea to have just a few ingredients including tea and water right? This has something like 12 and tea isn't even a top ingredient - it's fourth, after water, high fructose corn syrup (hello Diabetes), and Citric Acid.
This also has caramel and red colouring. I don't like to rag on anyone for their food or drink choices, so I won't - I'll just caution those who drink or who are looking into this drink to look at these contents and leave it at that.

…natural and noticeable relief!
While I have only been using this product for a short amount of time, I feel like it is going to be replacing similar competing products in my household the more I use it. I appreciate that this is vegetarian and that it is a delayed released supplement, as it was less harsh on my stomach than other pain medications. It is recommended that this be taken a couple of hours following a meal, but I had no issues taking this before that time, or longer than 2 hours later. The bottle says to take one capsule a day (I would like to find out for sure what the maximum is), which would last me around 6 or 7 hours. I did take this twice a day on occasion so I would be able to sleep without pain keeping me awake. Even if there was a need to take this a couple of times a day compared to just one, it still beats taking 6 pills from a competitor to get some relief.
The capsule itself is a bit larger and is yellow in colour. It goes down without a problem – I only needed to take maybe half a glass of water with it and it never felt like it was stuck in my throat.
I live with pain every day – I get migraines, have three pinched nerves, one of which is a cranial nerve that affects my eyesight due to it being crushed from inflammation, among other aches and pains of being an adult. This product worked quicker, lasted longer, and gave me relief more noticeable than the product I normally take. The quick changes might be due to me taking my previous medicine for so long that it was no longer effective, but I am still happy to have noticed such a difference in a weeks time. I look forward to continue to use this and see it’s full potential!

I love that this is a Canadian brand, which is composed of Vegetarian ingredients. The gel capsule looks a little alarming at first – it is dark green in colour, but it wasn’t anything I couldn’t get used to. There is no noticeable scent or taste to the capsules. After taking these, they do feel like they are a bit stuck in your throat – I had to take these will a full glass of water; occasionally I needed more to get the feeling gone.
These caused no other discomforts – no nausea, bloating, or intestinal distress or blockage. Over the period of about a week, I did notice a slight increase in energy. I normally need take at least one nap a day, and there were days where I did not need to bother with one (I’m sure my snuggly kitten is mad about that).
Since I was less fatigued, I was able to concentrate on daily tasks a bit better. Normally my hands, feet, nose, and ears are freezing cold all day long. I didn’t notice this being as severe, but the weather is also warming up. I would have to trial this longer before claiming this had benefited that issue.
Overall, I was happy to have gotten the chance to give Easy Iron a try. If you’re sensitive to supplements and in need of a quickly absorbed Iron boost, I would recommend giving these a try!
