I am very brand loyal. I rarely try new stuff because the stuff I use is the stuff that works. However, I have kinda fallen out of love with my current mascara so I was really excited to be able to try Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara.
The thing I like about this mascara is that the formula is very easy to work with. It doesn't clump, it doesn't feel sticky or heavy on my eyes and it just went on so nicely!! I didn't even need to put on a lot of mascara because with just one coat my eyelashes were LIFTED! I WAS SO IMPRESSED! However, out of habit I went straight back to putting on another coat..bad idea. You only need one coat...any more and your eyelashes get too heavy.
My only issue with the formula (even though it's pretty fantastic) is that it takes a long time to dry. So maybe do your eyeliner before your mascara (I usually do it after to cover up my smudges haha) to make sure that you don't smudge it any more. It is very wet where I am used to mascaras that are pretty dry to the point where you have to speed to get the perfect application before it dries! So it's not the best mascara to apply in a rush!
I would definitely buy this once my tube runs out. It makes my lashes look fierce with minimal effort :)

I'm currently participating in a boot camp challenge, but I'm finding it difficult to eat enough and hit my macro goals each day. My boyfriend got me these cookies so that it would be a little easier for me to get enough protein (and to ensure that if I was tempted to have something naughty, it wouldn't put me off track). One serving (half a cookie) contains 180 calories, 24g carbs, 6g fat, 4g fiber and 8g protein. It also vegan and contains no soy. I felt absolutely no shame in eating the whole damn thing.
When I first opened my cookie, it tasted a little weird. Like, when you are prepping your cookie dough and you eat some raw. Some people like that but I didn't. So I had left it out on my counter until I was ready to try and eat the rest of my half. Over time it actually got a little 'stale', but this made the texture more like that of a crumbly cookie so I was fine with it. I ate half after my lunch and another half after my netball training session and it was delightful. They are a little pricey (obviously because it's a dietary supplement and it is not filled with crap) but it's not something I could eat reguarly. And that's because of the price and the taste....I am not the biggest sweet fan so I couldn't eat them too often. But overall, a great little snack and very helpful for me in hitting my macros for the day!

This styling creme can be used on dry hair for styling, or damp hair for blowdrying. Personally, I use it before and after blowdrying because it smells so delicious. It is quite sticky so it's not something you can use on the go. Before blowdrying, I will put a blob the size of a quarter in the palm of my hand and run it through the ends of my damp hair. It smooths and sets my hair! Once I am done, I will use a tiny blob (Not even the size of a dime) and run it over my hair. It makes my hair look very smooth and sleek when its straight, and tames my frizz when I am wearing my hair curly (It also works a little bit like a mousse and separates my curls nicely)
Amazon says that it is unisex but it does smell very feminine, not that I wouldn't mind it if my boyfriend wore it because then I could smell his hair all day :)
I haven't used this product with the others in the set, but I am looking forward to giving them a try.

Oh my, how my life has changed since I got this lil cup! I used to dread my period every month and there was nothing I could do to make it any more tolerable. I used regular tampons and found myself either paranoid that I leaked (despite changing on the regular!), I would get sore from where ever the string would lie (front, back or middle...Didn't matter!) and I'd just feel unclean all the time! Also, not super convenient if you start to feel a bit damp due to an over-absorbed tampon during a class, meeting whatever. I thought I'd give the Diva Cup a shot after my friend recommended it.
Now, I'm not going to lie, it takes a bit of getting used to so that you can put it in correctly (but tampons were probably weird to me too 13 years ago!). That's why I tested it out on a day that I didn't need to go anywhere if I did have any accidents. You have to figure out which way works best for you because they detail a few different options in their instructions. I was fine just sitting on the toilet and making the cup into a pointy triangle.
It's a lot easier to put in than you think, the tricky thing is knowing how far 'in' it needs to go. My first attempt I didn't insert my diva cup in far enough and felt like a had a teeny penis, the second attempt I put it in too far and when I had done my twisty turny I think I suctioned something that shouldn't have been suctioned and everything was painful lol. Now I have it juuuuust right.
My favourite thing about my diva cup is the fact that I don't have to fly off in a panic to change my tampon. I work as a receptionist and sometimes I can't get away from my desk for a very long time. One day it got so bad I had to stand up because I was so paranoid about leakage. And you don't want people getting too close because you're paranoid that you stink. Changing it in public toilets is tricky, because I'm a spreader, but I'm getting better at it lol. It's surprising how much blood actually comes out of your body too when you're on your period. My diva cup makes me feel a little bit more in tune with my body. I can see how some people might be a little icked out when changing the diva cup but after thinking about it a little I'd much rather get a bit of blood on my hands than deal with so many gross tampons every day. I feel a lot freer, I'm not so self conscious and I even popped a squat with it in and it stayed put! I think I have written enough to persuade you that getting a diva cup is the right thing to do, you won't regret it!!

I bought this eye liner on a whim because I had left mine (Tattoo Liner) at home and was off to a party. I asked the sales associate at Sephora and she said hands down, the Stila All Day Waterproof Liner. I had been eyeing up a few and this was not one of them, but I decided to trust her. So glad I did!
So, my first wear. I screwed up my wing because I wasn't used to how perfectly the nib would glide (seriously, you could do calligraphy with that thing!) and I tried to wipe it off with a wet flannel. NO WAY! It didn't budge. So it's not lying when it says it is waterproof. It really is. I had left my micellar water at home too, so I ended up having to cover up my wonky eyeliner with lots of foundation before my night out :)
Ok, so back to the nib! My goodness. It is perfection. Like I said, it takes some getting used to how perfectly it glides, so make sure you have a few qtips and micellar water handy to clean up your mistakes the first few times. Now, I've been using this eyeliner for about 3 months and I have flawless wings every time. Regarding the staying power, this stuff ain't for budging! I can cry in confidence (I cry a lot) knowing that my eyeliner will still be beautiful. Even rubbing my sleepy eyes is not enough to rid me of my perfect wings :) It helps that it is super pigmented so a little goes a long way. I found using other eyeliners that you would need a few coats to get fierce colour, and with each coat came another patch where it just doesn't seem to look right!
I would 100% recommend this eyeliner, it is the bees knees. God help me if they ever discontinue it!!

I expected this sauce to be very spicy (there was a spicy and a mild option, I chose spicy) but it was pretty mild. Don't get me wrong, there is definitely some spice there and it'd probably warm you up if you aren't big on spice, but if you're looking to blow your mind with spice then this sauce is not for you. It's still very tasty though and would make a really good bbq sauce/marinade. I'd describe the flavour as smokey, sweet, tangy with a slight spicy kick.
Definitely a good family bbq sauce! I definitely look forward to supporting this company going forward :)
