I first started using this mascara when I was fourteen because I would find it in my mother’s cosmetic drawer. I am twenty now, and continue to use this wonderful product. I believe that says a lot!
This mascara not only gives you dark lashes, but it creates a luscious full lash line that you cannot get from any other mascara (or at least that I have found.) I have tried many other mascaras MAC, Estee Lauder, Dior, Clinique, and a few supermarket brands upon suggestion… But have yet to find anything that is comparable. The next best mascara that I have found would have to be Bad Gal lash by Benefit, however many of my friends do not achieve the same results as I found with it. Hypnose creates the ultimate seductive eye, even when you have no eye shadow on. It is a great day look and you don't have to use eyeliner because it creates such a thick, dark lash line that extends for miles. I do not find it gets clumpy even when you’re building up many coats. This mascara does not flake, and can be removed with water and a cleanser such as clean and clear exfoliating day wash. I have tried so many products and none give me a curvier, thicker, or more lengthy lash line. This is a staple in my makeup bag as well as in many of my friends.

I first bought this lip balm a few years ago when I was buying a dress at a local boutique. I had never seen it before but noticed a small display at the cash register. I asked the sales associate about it and said they were fantastic; not only moisturized your lips but it could be used virtually anywhere on your body. I was sold.
I have probably purchased this product over 15 times since that first day, because I simply can't get enough. It lasts surprisingly long for such a small container and especially considering I use it for just about everything. I love the smell and it's also not very sticky (which scores big points with my boyfriend.) I have used this product on dry patches on my face, elbows, and legs. I have used it on blemish marks, helping them to heal remarkably quickly. I frequently use it to moisturize my hands, cuticles and of course, my lips. If you can’t tell, I am a huge fan!

I am the type of person who would usually never even walk through the supermarket makeup section. My girlfriend, who is far more of a princess than I am, swears by her old school pink and green container Maybelline mascara, to which I usually laugh. However this time, when it came time to buy my favorite tried and true Lancôme Hypnose mascara I decided that I was going to make a recession conscious decision, and give Maybelline last stiletto a try.
Complete waste of $10.00. First off, this mascara did not coat my eyelashes very well. I found I had to build layer upon layer in attempt to lift and volumize my lashes, a very unsuccessful endeavor. Then, after having weighed down my eyelashes with coats of strange smelling mascara, it simply flaked off as the day went along. I want to say that I was very disappointed because I went into this experiment with high hopes and a very optimistic outlook, however I don’t think I ever truly believed that this product would work. I usually get compliments on how pretty my eyes are, or how long my eyelashes look. During the week that I wore this mascara, I did not receive a single compliment. On the contrary, I was actually asked if I was tired, sick or not getting enough sleep. I would not recommend this mascara to anyone. Instead I would suggest that they try either Hypnose by Lancôme, or Bad Gal lash by Benefit. If your going to attempt to save money during this recession I would suggest avoiding unnecessary purchases, especially on a deficient mascara such as this.
