Yay! Thank YOU so much ChickAdvisor for sending me the Nair Wax Ready-Strips Face & Bikini to try out. :) There are 40 wax strips and 4 finishing wipes in the box. Let me start by saying that I've tried a lot of hair removal products at the drug store - from bleaching, shaving to waxing. I find that with waxing products there are a lot of misses in hair removal and huge consumer of my precious time! I've done the heat up and roll on, rub to warm up wax, cold wax etc. You can see that I have grown wary of drug store waxing formulas and products. For the first time I am genuinely impressed with the Wax Ready Strips. I used the pink bandaid size wax strips to shape my eyebrows and remove unwanted upper lip hair and it's FANTASTIC. This formula picks up short and fine hairs on my face and removes it without me going over the area (frustratingly) multiple times - leaving my skin feeling raw and looking pink. The ready to use strips doesn't leave behind lots of wax just speckles. Absolutely, I am switching from tweezers and bleaching creams to Nair's Wax Ready Strips - makes my life easier by saving me time. This is a need product in my home! I am highly recommending my female friends who are wary of hair removal systems to give Nair Wax Ready-Strips a spin because this has changed my hair removal ritual and saves me tons of time. -

A genuine thank you to ChickAdvisor for send me the Batiste Dry Shampoo Dark and Deep Brown and a fun flamingo (!) shower cap to test out. I have very, VERY greasy hair. My fresh hair lasts about 12 hours and then I lose volume and my hair gets straggly. :( I have also toyed with the idea many times in my head about buying Batiste dry shampoo at Winner's but never made the purchase because I love my homemade dry shampoo - cocoa powder. I was worried about the "white powdered" look of dry shampoo in my hair as well as the scent of heavy fragrance. I am deeply thankful that I got to test out the Batiste Dry Shampoo because it's a game changer for me. Why didn't I buy this earlier?! I'm beating myself up right now. This dry shampoo is amazing! I use it after going to the gym and whenever my hair seems greasy or weighed down. It's like an instant hair wash in a bottle! I love how finely milled the dry shampoo is and how it blends into my deep black hair. There has been no awkward "white powdered" stuff in my hair moment. I'm not a fan of the "walk into a fragrance shop" scent but fortunately the smell dissipates quickly within 10 to 15 minutes after use. I would absolutely purchase this and this is now a staple product in my gym bag, office desk and at home. I am highly recommending all my dark colored hair ladies to give this a try there is nothing to lose - only wins and gains. :) -

A heartfelt thank you to ChickAdvisor for sending me the Arm & Hammer Truly Radiant Clean & Fresh toothpaste to test out. I have mildly sensitive teeth which means it's difficult for me break out of my routine of using Sensodyne aka my safety blanket. I am also an avid drinker of drink coffee, black tea and red wine that means I have one odd (food and drink) stains on my teeth here and there no matter how well I brush my teeth. I didn't think too much of the pearly white toothpaste staring back at me when I first used it. BUT, the toothpaste is amaze-balls! I love the super minty and peppermint-y taste - it's just like swishing around mouthwash. I also love how just a little bit of the toothpaste foams up nicely like latte froth in my mouth and the formula is paired perfectly with a bit finely textured granules to thoroughly clean my teeth. After the first time brushing with the toothpaste I noticed 75% of the tea stains on my teeth washed away. Having used the toothpaste for a week now - twice a day - I noticed that 90% of the (food & drink) stains have vanished! Second thing I noticed that I have less "furry" teeth in-between brushings with food buildup. In other words, my teeth and mouth feel fresh and cleaner throughout the day instead of "just after brushing". I feel more confident with my teeth and breath after using the Truly Radiant toothpaste. I would absolutely purchase this toothpaste and use it in-between my regular toothpaste as a deep clean for my teeth and mouth. I have been highly recommending my friends and family to give it a try - specifically anyone who is looking to try a mouthwash infused toothpaste. Fun times! :) #trulyradiantsmile -

The wedges are perfect sizes (enough thickness) and the outside is crispy meanwhile the middle if tender, fluffy and moist. I can eat this stuff all day! -
SunChips Harvest Cheddar
Sunchips are one of my fave chips - they are so unique in texture and it's ridges. It's a bit grainy and I like that! They are perfectly seasoned and the size the perfect for nibbling on or for one bite. Sunchips reminds me of positive childhood... +

A heart felt thank you to ChickAdvisor for sending me the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Water to test out – all 400 ml! I have sensitive and combination skin, in other words skin that gets easily irritated and breaks out easily. Where has this all-in-1 cleanser water been all my life? I feel like other toners have been stripping my skin of it’s natural oil barrier and fauna which has been the centre of my acne woes. I tossed out my Clean & Clean toner because it’s too harsh on my skin. I love, love this all-in-1 cleanser. This is a miracle! I love how this product effectively removes powder foundation, blush, lipstick, eyeliner, mascara and eye shadow meanwhile working with my skin and its natural barriers to heal and repair. This product is very gentle and non-scented, leaving my skin clean and feeling hydrated. I rinse the all-in-1 cleanser off and then I put on my night time routine products. I know the product said no rinse but I’m so use to rinsing that it’s weird for me not to. I have yet not to rinse the cleanser off but one day I will! I would definitely purchase the Garnier Skin Active Micellar Water. This is now a staple product in my beauty cleansing routine. I have recommended this to ALL my friends and family to try out because this product is, hands down, amaze balls. -

I love how this is a moisturizer with SPF in it albeit only SPF 15. I wish the range was higher like a minimum of 45. Ahhh, well, a girl can only wish.
I have sensitive and combination skin, in other words skin that gets easily irritated and breaks out easily. I like how the moisturizer sinks quickly into my thirsty skin, keeping my finicky skin hydrated in the winter months and hasn’t broken me out (yet). Automatically, I noticed there’s less flakiness on my skin especially around the corners of my mouth and edges of my nose but the flakiness is not completely gone. Good work Garnier! This moisturizer works better than my no-name non-scented moisturizer. In using this product for a week and a half I have noticed that the moisturizer diminishes the redness of my recent acne scars (yay!) but overall I haven’t noticed any brightening or lightening effects on my skin. I would purchase the Garnier Skin Active Clearly Brightening & Smoothing Daily Moisturizer if it was on sale. I would recommend this to my friends and family to try out especially my aunties who don’t use sunscreen and would benefit from the brightening effects of this moisturizer.

Thank YOU to ChickAdvisor for sending me their Canada Dry Club Soda to taste. I absolutely love club sodas – drinking them straight. I usually don’t like anything flavoured because it can be overpowering and artificial tasting. However, Canada Dry Club hit the perfect notes with flavour, reduced sodium and keeping the drink unsweetened. It’s like Canada Dry club read my mind about the perfect guilt-free drink! The refreshing drink was perfect and bubbly. It was like some dropped a couple of freshly squeezed lemon and lime wedges into my club soda and gave it a nice gentle stir. This is a guilt-free drink that I can consume all year long! -

It’s not overpowering nor does the scent clings/lingers for long. When applied on my face it feels like I’m gliding on a thick and rich gel primer on my face. It hydrates dry patches and flaky skin that I have. A little bit of the serum goes very far because there is golden and pink sparkles in the product which creates an illuminating and dewy glow. I confidently rock the serum look without wearing any foundation. I feel this serum is a fun one to wear during the day. I haven’t noticed any significant or visible results in terms of my skin texture. I'm undecided about whether or not I would be purchasing Vichy Idealia’s Life Serum, unless it is on sale then of course I would. -

Thank you ChickAdvisor kindly for sending me the Vichy Idealia Skin Sleep Recovery Night Gel Balm to try. My mom and I religiously used this overnight skin treatment for two weeks. When first applied on your face, it feels cool and refreshing like a cold jelly. The gel has a bit of stickiness to it but once dried the stickiness faded and the post primer of smoothness feeling kicked in. My mom’s mature skin made tremendous gains. Her skin looks more dewy, plumper and smoother. My skin loved the lightweight, balmy gel texture and the extra hydrating boost. I noticed was less flaky and overall smoother, Vichy delivers. We love this more than other night creams we have tried, which tended to be heavy and greasy feeling. We plan on investing on this night gel when we finish the current container! -
