It’s always important to invest in a good set of makeup brushes! I received this beautiful Mineral Brush 11 from Nude by Nature and ChickAdvisor to test out. #gotitfree
When opening up the package, I ran my fingers along the top of the brush to feel just how soft the fibers were. Such softness! I really liked the way I could apply my makeup and it didn't take forever to evenly blend into my skin. I also love the size of the brush. It's perfect for small hands like mine!
I will say that the synthetic fibers are very delicate, even though the bristles are densely packed together and so a few came off after washing for the first time. However, hopefully this brush can withstand regular washing.
Another great thing is that all their products including brushes, are cruelty-free, which is becoming an important factor for me when purchasing beauty products.

It doesn't take up too much room in the fridge at all, which is always a concern. It has an easy to open lid where you can place your produce item inside and the CrispTray helps to keep moisture away. I also think the quality of the plastic is quite good.
For me, I chose to test out blueberries since they are one of my favourite fruits this time of the year to buy. The sad part is that they only tend to last a 2-3 days max, even when I take them out of the original packaging and put them in a regular sealed container. This is more disheartening because I can only buy small packages at a time, otherwise they will spoil/get moldy or just become inedible.
After experimenting with the use of putting blueberries in the FreshWorks Produce Saver, it really worked at extending the life of the blueberries. I was able to keep them in the fridge for over 5 days without any issues. Now I am seeing a bit of moisture develop, so I need to use them up, but I am pretty happy with the results.
It's a bonus that you can purchase various sizes for whatever produce you want to store or depending on your needs. Maybe a few different colour options would be great!
The only downside is that the price is a bit steep for each item, however, it is still a good investment so you're able to eat fresh produce more often and not have to worry about spoilage which is a drain on your time, energy, as well as your wallet.

I was very intrigued to try Daiya's Dairy Free Fire-Roasted Vegetable Pizza after seeing it many times in the supermarket.
I will say that the taste of the sauce and vegetables were delicious. Even the "vegan" cheese is definitely worth trying out, as I didn't miss regular dairy-cheese at all. However, the main problem I had with this pizza is that the crust tasted like cardboard. I felt like I just wanted to scoop off all the ingredients and just eat them on some other carb like a tortilla or even just place onto some lettuce wraps and leave out the dry and tasteless crust. I have had gluten-free crusts before and they were very tasty, so this was rather disappointing that Daiya put a lot of effort it seems to all the other components of the pizza, but didn't make the crust very edible.
These types of products are rather expensive, as they are found in the natural frozen food section, so I think i'm saving my money and will look for another dairy-free pizza that may suit my needs better!

I purchased Burt's Bees new lip crayon in the shade Niagara Overlook. It's a light pinkish shade that provides a more natural hint of colour for those of us who are fair-skinned, rather than something really bold that would draw attention to the mouth area. If you want more colour, applying a few times seems to works well. They have many other shades, which I think will be worth trying out.
The formula is very hydrating with shea butter and other moisturizing ingredients, so it is perfect for when you need some extra moisture to your lips.
There is a lot of transfer, so if you are looking for a long-lasting, transfer-proof lipstick, this wouldn't be it. However, it seemed to last a few hours and even after the lipstick fades, leaves a nice pink tinge to the lips.
I really like the sleek tube with the crayon application, as it makes it much easier to apply and for the price, it's a great deal for the quality and quantity that you get.

This is a great makeup remover. After soaking a cotton pad (you may need a couple of them if you’re removing a full face of makeup) with the Micellar Water, you can definitely see the amount of makeup that comes off right away without using much pressure at all. My skin was left feeling very refreshed, hydrated and moisturized, probably because of the high amount of glycerin. It also felt so soft and smooth, almost as if I did an exfoliating mask. I'm not really sure about the anti-redness claim since my complexion is naturally rosy at times, but I did notice a reduction in that awkward tightness feel, which was positive.
400 ML seems like a generous amount and not badly priced. You can also opt out for smaller sizes which would be great if you’re travelling. The only extra cost would be the cotton pads. I would have liked if this product could be used like a cleanser with my hands, but a small price to pay for an effective makeup remover like this one.
I’ve been using this all week long and it seems to be working very well. I would say this is a great addition to my skincare routine. I wouldn't toss out my cleanser just yet though because on the days where I don't wear a lot of makeup, I wouldn't reach for the Micellar Water, as I think it is more suitable for the purpose of what it states as a "makeup remover."

This particular scent from Dove was rather strong and I didn't care for the lingering smell after my boyfriend used it. I would also not recommend using it as a face wash, especially if you have very sensitive skin. However, with saying that, it does do a decent job on the rest of the body. Lathers up nicely and doesn't leave any kind of residue or irritation to the skin. It also feels very moisturizing. You don't really need any additional body spray once you're out of the shower because it stays for a while. I still find the Dove Men Aqua scent to be most pleasing from this line of body and face washes! -

It's a healthy snack that is loaded with a lot of nutritional benefits like protein and fibre. I like the crunchy texture and even though these contain sea salt, it is not overpowering at all. I added a nice avocado mixture to scoop my chips up with, but they can also be eaten just straight out of the bag too! -

They have a delicious taste and when the grocery store has a sale, 2/$4.00 is a great buy. They last only 2-3 days maximum, but they are a wonderful snack and a perfect treat on top of my pumpkin pie! -
