I had the chance to try teapigs Cleanse tea with coconut. As an avid tea drinker, I was very excited to try a brand I never heard of. The results were pretty amazing. Teapigs carefully selects whole leaves which enhances the tea flavor. It also means that if you reuse the same teabag, you will still be able to taste the flavor. It has no artificial flavourings and even the packaging is plant-based. Will definitely purchase in the future! -

I had the opportunity to try Sobeys' Voilà online grocery home delivery service. In the middle of COVID-19, I had been meaning to order groceries online, and I finally did it with Voilà. The whole experience was both pleasant and easy.
I signed-up on their website, and scrolled through the online grocery store. Eager to benefit from deals and specials, I was happy to find a section called “Sales” which included reduced items you would normally see on a weekly flyer, from cauliflower to peanut butter. After adding all items I needed to my cart, I had to select a delivery time. I was offered 1-hour time slots, from 6am until 11pm. All were available for next-day delivery, and so I selected 10am-11am. There is a flat fee of $7.99 for deliveries (read $8) which I thought was excessive. The website did not lag at all, nor had I any kind of technical issues.
On the next day, I received a call at 9:50am. The delivery driver told me that he would be there in 10 minutes. Two delivery persons brought all my bags to my door. Everything was there. All items were fresh. They even packed “dangerous items” that could leak in additional plastic bags, which was very thoughtful, but terrible for the environment. I was very happy I didn’t have to carry the 6-packs of drinks all the way from the store to my home.
I will reuse this service for sure. Hopefully delivery fees will be lowered, and there will be an alternative to too many plastic bags.

I had the chance to try Joico Zero Heat Air Dry styling cream for fine/medium hair from Chickadvisor for testing purposes. I have curly damaged hair, difficult to tame and difficult to style. In the morning, I never know what my hair will look like, and sometimes it’s bad news - think Hagrid in Harry Potter. I usually stay away from styling creams as most products on the market will leave your hair dry, and I have tried most commercial brands. I used Joico’s styling cream on wet hair. It didn’t leave my hair dry or crunchy, and to me this is an innovation. It also helped define my curls. My hair looked bouncy and the frizz was controlled all day without having to reapply more product. Quick and easy. I highly recommend this for humans who need to look their best in a matter of minutes! -

It is very easy to use, as the tiny brush offers precise and flexible application. The oil brow setter and its conditioning formula helps shape and polish my eyebrows by making them more defined and neater than usual, while still looking natural. I recommend.

I had the chance to try NYX Bare With Me Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil Lip Conditioner as a complimentary product for testing purposes. The lip gloss is infused with hemp-derived Cannabis Sativa seed oil, known for its soothing and calming properties in cosmetics. The lip conditioner hydrates and soothes lips, leaving a clear glowy shine that is not sticky like usual lip glosses. I enjoyed NYX Lip Conditioner, but there is nothing special about it, and after several weeks of usage, I don’t particularly see any difference than with other lip conditioning products.

The primer is lightweight and hydrating, and is infused with micropearls, which gives the product a glittery, shiny look. Once applied to the skin, it is radiant, smooth and luminous, and makes the skin looks soft and flawless, with a little bit of highlight. It also provides an excellent base layer before makeup. Two thumbs up, I highly recommend.

The product smells nice, and the scent is not overpowering. I have sensitive skin and some masks make my skin looks red after usage. This oat mask however made my skin looks clear and feels smooth. I have sensitive skin. I had the chance to try Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Cream Facial Cleanser as a free product by #chickadvisor. The cleanser was creamy, and rinsed away the oil and the dirt from my face without irritating it. I loved the texture of it as once the face wash was mixed with water, it turned into a cleansing foam that felt really soft on my face. On the next day, the breakout had been contained, and my skin appeared clear and fresh. The smell of grapefruit was delicious. I highly recommend and would definitely buy it again! -

I usually don’t like strong smells when I use products on my face. I had the chance to try Neutrogena Pink Grapefruit Acne Prone Skin Clay Face Mask as a free product by #chickadvisor. The mask absorbed the oil and impurities that clog my pores. When I washed it off, It left my skin feeling soft and clean. The smell of grapefruit was not too overpowering. I highly recommend and would definitely buy it again! -
