Between the sand, the snacks, and the existential dread of chasing kids around a splash pad, the last thing I want to worry about is reapplying sunscreen every 20 minutes. Enter: Blue Lizard, a little bottle of sanity in a sea of “MOMMMM I’M STICKY.”
This mineral sunscreen is thick but spreads well, doesn’t smell like a chemical factory, and best of all? It stays on. Like, actually stays put through sprinkler runs, popsicle chaos, and full-blown slip-and-slide mayhem.
It’s gentle on sensitive skin (my daughter didn’t break out, which is a miracle - her skin reacts to EVERYTHING!), and I love that it’s chemical-free, safe and free of the usual nasties. The only downside? It takes a little elbow grease to rub in, but I’ll happily take that over a sunburned, cranky kiddo.
Honestly, it’s now a permanent resident in our beach bag.

This supplement is super easy to take (just two capsules a day), and there’s no funky aftertaste or digestive drama to report. I appreciate that it’s free of gluten, dairy, and wheat, because surprise inflammation is not on my wish list.
I’ve only been on it for a short while, so I won’t pretend it’s transformed my life overnight — but I’ve already noticed my sleep is less chaotic and the mood swings have leveled out just a bit (or at least I’m not growling at my plants anymore). I’m hopeful that with consistent use, the rest of the symptoms (hi, night sweats and joint pain) will start to chill out too.
Honestly, it feels good to have something natural in my corner during this hormonal rollercoaster. And the fact that it’s Canadian-made? Bonus points for supporting local wellness.

Two softgels a day, no stomach drama, no weird taste, and no mystery ingredients I can’t pronounce (unless "Vegapure®" counts — which sounds like something from a Marvel movie, but I’m into it).
I love that this is a natural option for cholesterol support, especially since I’m always trying to go the preventative route rather than waiting for my body to throw up red flags. It fits right in with the other wellness stuff I’m doing — more leafy greens, less cheese-based emotional support, and long walks that double as podcast catch-up time.
Bonus points for being made without gluten, dairy, or weird fillers. My body is picky, and this one passed the vibe check.

They're also super thin, comfortable and practically invisible. So easy to use! Just stick that baby on before bed, and by morning—bam! That angry red pimple? Wayyyy less scary. I wouldn’t say it made it disappear overnight (let’s be real, that would be actual magic), but it definitely shrank it down and sped up the healing process.
With visible results in ONE night, zero irritation, a super fair price point and a brand I trust, I can safely say these overnight patches are a solid addition to my skincare arsenal!
