May have just been their age, because my son and his friends were having a ball the other day getting his hatchimal to repeat them and being silly. They were a little pricey, but they've held up well and are super durable. -

Presoaking clothes that have gotten grease or hard to fight stains, yes please! Definitely pay a little more than other brands, but its more useful than other brands too!
