When I used this I used it for the whitening benefit, but I still went in with another toothpaste to receive fluoride. Fluoride is what helps to reduce cavities. I did enjoy the flavour of this toothpaste and the texture. I am just someone that needs fluoride in their toothpaste to use it everyday. I will continue to use this so it doesn't go to waste, but I would not repurchase. -
