Bumbo Floor Seat
My son flipped himself backwards within minutes of being put in this. He was at the younger end of the recommended age. I refused to use it after that. It was an expensive mistake, I'm just glad he wasn't seriously injured. I cringe when I see... +

Mario Kart Wii
Got this in January and have played it 3-4 times per week since then (if not more) my 2 year old loves watching it, and I enjoy indulging him (though maybe I shouldn't as much). The courses are challenging, and it is great unlocking different... +

The courses are challenging, and it is great unlocking different things. I've enjoyed going online with it and racing with people from around the world. Highly recommend it!!! -
Nintendo Wii

I also got the wii fit and really enjoy that, though it is not the most intense workout. I've just gotten EA Sports Active which I've heard is great, but haven't had a chance to try it. Mariokart is very popular at our house, as is Tiger Woods Golf 2010. Would highly recommend getting a Wii!!! It is fun for all ages! -

I always keep this on hand. It feels great when you have a cold, you can just feel it working, and I actually like the smell. I put it on my son's feet when he has a cough and it seems to work.

Although I am generally a fan of Special K they missed the boat on this one. The "chocolate" pieces do not taste very chocolaty and are very waxy. If you want chocolate, save yourself the disappointment and have a piece of dark chocolate (it's healthy). The box sat in our cupboard for a while until I finally sent it to the compost. Great idea, but didn't like the taste. -

We go to Montana's frequently. They recently updated their menu. The food is generally very good, but it is hit and miss with the service. When it is good it is very good, but sometimes it is a long wait both to get a table and for the food to arrive (we waited over an hour on a Thursday night for food). The staff though in both the Halifax and Dartmouth locations are very friendly. The food is always quite tasty and you will not walk away hungry. The price is average for that type of restaurant (most entrees are between $15-25). When there is a problem they always try to either resolve it quickly or compensate you for it. (The manager contacted us after our last meal and is sending us something due to the exorbitant wait we experienced). It is very family friendly, as it is a "noisy" but not obnoxious atmosphere. We have a 2 year old and had no problem dining with a toddler. -
