I subscribe to the Glymm Beauty Box, where for $10 each month, products arrive at your door. Some are sample size and some full size. I received the Cargo high pigment pencil in black in January. I found that it went on very smoothly in a nice black. It also came off well with makeup remover. I started wearing eye liner again! Would definitely look at their other products. -

1. What was your overall experience with this product? (e.g. ease of use, texture/scent, etc)
I have never used a masque, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I liked the result but not the process. I found it annoying that the directions said to use on towel-dry hair. My husband found it funny watching me stop the shower, dry my hair and then go back in! I have only used the masque twice (I only wash my hair about twice a week, so I used the masque once each week). My hair was almost slick after rinsing. The texture of the masque felt just thicker than conditioner and it went on nicely.
2. Did you notice any changes to your hair? (e.g. smoothness, moisture levels, healthy appearance, etc)
Just like the shampoo, I found that my hair was much smoother and silkier. I did find that my hair got greasier faster after using the masque however.
3. How do these products compare to other hydrating or reparative hair treatments you’ve tried in the past (if any)?
Having never tried a product like this, I really have nothing to compare it to.
4. Would you consider purchasing these products in the future and/or recommend them to a friend?
Yes! I do see the masque lasting a while though as I would only be using it once a week or as needed. Overall I liked the product and found that my hair was overall better looking and healthier.

I really liked this product! I did find that because I only wash my hair about 2x a week, I had to do it twice since the formula was thin and my hair is long. The scent was banana-y and light and enjoyable. I even used it in conjunction with my regular conditioner and found that my hair augmented the conditioner.

After the first wash, I found that my hair was less frizzy after blow-drying and looked shinier. That lasted into the second day. I actually cut out my smoothing cream since using it.
3. Would you consider purchasing these products in the future and/or recommend them to a friend
Yes! THough the bottle needs to be bigger or else it will become expensive.

I am going tonight for the 3rd time in as many months. I have been to both the Sultan's Tent and Cafe Maroc, and would say for price, stay with the Cafe. You pay more in the Tent because of the belly dancing demonstration but the food is the same in both (obviously an expanded menu in the Tent). THe portion sizes are good and filling and the food pretty authentic. -

I got this mascara on the advice of the security guy at the Bloor St. Sephora! I was previously using the Sephora line but wanted to try something new. This is great! The guy and the sales clerk both mentioned it was a fav of everyone who tries it. It doesn't smudge, goes on smoothly and not in clumps and comes off easy. THe formula is thinner/waterier than others, but I find that one coat does the trick! Very natural looking but definitely makes my eye stand out. -

First off, I am sorry for the late post. Part of why is the product. I found it difficult to make a window of opportunity of 2 hours where I wasn't eating, drinking or talking. There is only one thing I liked about the strips; they went on easily. After that (immediately) I had issues. I had a bad taste in my mouth; they become gel-like making me not want to talk (and my job is talking). They felt like they were moving and could come off at any point. In my before and after pic to see if there was a change, I really couldn't see one. I don't think they worked for me at all, so I will not be using the rest of the package in 3 months. Thanks for the opportunity though Chick Advisor! -

I received Cottonelle as part of the review club (thank you Chickadvisor). I will admit that I am a "buy whatever is on sale" toilet paper shopper, so I wasn't expecting this to be any worse or any better than other brands. In a sense I was right. The paper itself has a different weave (horizontal lines) which I found made it tear more, but was effective (how does someone write about this nicely?!) when wiping. I used about the same amount as other brands, but somehow the roll shrunk faster (we always get double rolls). I will probably buy it again but not deliberately. -

I received this product from the review club and I was pleasantly surprised! First that they were generous enough to send us 6 bottles, and then at the taste. I have tried vitamin drinks in the past (usually when sick or hungover), but have been turned off by the sacchrine taste. Aquafina doesn't have that. I found I liked the blueberry flavour best as the other two were a little overpowering, though enjoyable (I drink unflavoured water all the time, so this was a jolt of flavour). I also like the fact that it was only 10 calories, I enjoy having the flavour and none of the guilt :)
I think the price point is good considering the size of the bottle as some smaller drinks are just as much. I will definitely look for the Aquafina the next time I need a vitamin packed drink.

I decided to lose some weight as we were going to Hawaii for our honeymoon. I have/had been very neglectful about going to the gym, and really needed to shed about 10 pounds. Due to a kitchen reno gone awry, eating out had added weight. And then a sorority sister tweeted that she had been using My Fitness Pal and had been dropping weight. So I took a look.
First off, it works on both iPhone and Blackberry and syncs to an online profile instantly. Second, many common foods/restaurants are already in there, and if not, and you have the info, you can add them. You can also add your own recipes and it breaks down the nutritional content.
I lost about 7 lbs just by using this program in about a month with NO exercise. My husband has lost around 30 by following this and just walking the dog. We really like its simplicity, ease and tracking abilities. A definite must for anyone, even if you aren't looking to lose weight. I found that I was lacking in some vitamins from its detailed daily analysis.

It really separates and looks very natural on. I will definitely take in my sample and get a full size one. -
