I received a sample of the Solo chocolate charger bar and passed it on to my husband to try. He's been training for a Gran Fondo bike race and needed some extra energy boosts on his rides. He really liked the taste - it was chocolatey, not too sweet, but it was a little melty. The size is perfect because it's pocket-sized. Gave lots of energy. Normally he doesn't like the "healthy" energy bar options (low sugar, no corn syrup, gluten-free, etc.) and he loved this one! The other flavours sounds great and he's wanting to try the Peanut Power one. Thanks for the opportunity to test this! -

It's subtle and still tastes like ice-cream considering it's dairy-free. Impressive! It's pricey so definitely an alternative if you're lactose intolerant and wanting ice-cream. -

I bought the new style of Sharpie permanent marker with the brush tip for colouring. The ink pigment is rich, potent, consistent, and matches the colour on the outside of the pen. The thickness is appropriate and effective. The only thing I question is the amount of ink that you get in the marker because the pen looks really big but I think the quantity is misleading. The only part that's the ink is the bottom half off the pen because the cap is so large. Something to keep in mind. Hope it comes in more colours other than the 5 you get in the set. -

I found the Aveeno body yogurt lotion fantastic! The scent is wonderful - stronger than the body wash but not overpowering. The texture of the cream/lotion is nice, not too thick but not so thin that it's gone in 2 minutes. The only thing that might take getting used to is having to "scoop" it out of the jar. I'm used to lotions from a bottle or squeeze tube so still adjusting to that. Love it and would definitely buy it! Thanks for the sample! -

I really enjoy Aveeno products. I find the quality good and this body wash is no different. Not sure if it's superior than other body washes in term of effectiveness, but the scent is nice and not overwhelming. My husband tried it and said that it doesn't smell "girly" and works well. I passed it on to my sister to try and she said it "smells nice, lathered well, came out of the bottle in a globby texture – not attractive". I agree that the colour of the body wash is not pleasing - it's a translucent goopy texture but it works well and does soap up if you give it time. I would buy it if it was on sale. -

Same as the shampoo, I liked the scent of the coconut. The texture of my hair improved after using it. I found that the design of the bottle with the lid being on the bottom, I often got too much product when I squeezed the bottle.

I like the fact that the shampoo has a neutral smell that a man could use and still enjoy and is not too coconuty (my husband was the guinea pig). It was nourishing and hydrating for my hair. I found it above average compared to my usual hair products so I would definitely recommend it. I loved the design of the bottles and how the bottles are the same but the lid is on the top of one (shampoo) and at the bottom of the other (conditioner). Easy to differentiate in the shower when your eyes are soapy! Thanks for the opportunity to try them out! -

I think it was a good balance of chocolate to fruit ratio. Wasn't too sweet, it was chewy but not too crunchy. It was a good size, very filling - can be a lunch substitute. Combo of the flavours was good.

The serum was very nourishing and hydrating with a nice scent. It's cool when you put it on and light and smooth on the skin. It's very similar to appearance and effectiveness of other serums I've used in the past. It's slightly more oily than the one I'm currently using but not enough to make me break out, which is great since I have very sensitive skin. Definitely a good buy for people with oily, sensitive skin! I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends - I've already passed it on to my sister to try! The night cream was very nourishing and hydrating. It's cool when you put it on and light and smooth on the skin. It's very similar to appearance and effectiveness of other face creams I've used in the past. I would recommend it to my family and friends - I've already passed it on to my sister to try! I probably won't buy it for myself because I think my skin is too oily and it's nourishing quality makes it more suitable for dry skin types.
