Ever wonder if your food is maybe slightly too hot for your baby? Wonder no more. Munchkin created these spoons with your little one in mind, in safety and in practicality. Made with flexible White Hot Safety technology, the spoon is gentle on your LO gums, perfectly portioned to his/her mouth, and will fade in color when too hot for your LO to handle.
Not only are they easy to use and super helpful in the parenting department, but these spoons are affordable and come in a beautiful array of colors to make them fun for your LO at feeding time.
I'm sure with long term use and overexposure to heat, the technology will eventually start to fade, but they're hanging in strong at the moment (exact reason I prefer handwashing over prolonged exposure to uncontrollable heat in the dishwasher.)
I found these best used for the early/starting feeding months, at around 6 months my LO outgrew these (please keep in mind that they can still be used longer than this, but she sprouted teeth early and started chomping on literally anything she could get that tooth on.)

As I was reviewing the OogieBear (another baby product must-have for new mamas,) I was reminded of another simple, gentle, yet effective product I have come to love, and refuse to go long trips without. This product would be the Munchkin ClearNose Nasal Aspirator:
Unlike other well-known nasal suction devices, this one is as gentle as Mama's breath (the airflow, not the smell... because that right there is a whole different story.) With three varying sizes of nasal ends to meet your baby's needs, a single tube and the filtering/housing piece for the boogies, this product is a relatively simple design and easy to clean. The tube cleverly attaches to the housing section from the side, filtering out the air from the snot, allowing Mama to suck those boogies without eating them herself (because, yuck!) Munchkin's aspirator also comes with a convenient storage case with room to hold the interchangeable extra two ends. All-in-all, with the case, the product dimensions are roughly 5.3"H x 1.3"D x 2.3"W, making it not incredibly small, but definitely portable.
I purchased mine from babies"R"us, but options may also be available on Amazon, depending on stock and location.

Bought this as a last resort for a LO who HATES (yes, all caps was most definitely necessary) most nose bulbs/boogie suction devices (with the exception of Munckin's ClearNose Nasal Aspirator, which I also plan to do a review on.) This was definitely one of my favorite baby product purchases as a mama of a little cutie with major runny/snotty nose. Not going to lie, it can sometimes still be a struggle since she generally doesn't like anything near her nose or ears, but it is a more gentle and easily controlled device than that of most nasal suckers/bulbs. The OogieBear comes with two different ends: one is for those ever-so dry-and-crusty boogies, and the other for the more wet-and-gooey-uber-sticky boogies. The only reason I didn't give the full five-star-review is because it doesn't attack all the booger-ey needs, but it certainly gets the vast majority of the work done. Bonus: works on clearing out earwax too, I had no idea what I was going to do in that department before buying this.
If you buy the pack of two, they also come with a super handy case that's divided and labeled "Clean" and "Dirty". Cleaning is a cinch, since there are no tubes or hidden spots to get at, no worries of mold, and extremely easy upkeep. The OogieBear is made up of a soft yet highly durable material, but I recommend using a travel case at all times, as the ends are still breakable under improper storage (whoops.)
Favorite part: they are insanely cute, and the colors are beautiful! I bought the mint/raspberry pack since I had a little lady and my sister-in-law was having a little guy, but I loved them so much I ended up keeping both... looking like I may have to order more.

These wipes are extremely soft, gentle on your cute babe's rosy button nose, yet packs a punch to those boogies like you wouldn't believe. These wipes not only lack the nasty taste other wipes have, but they also contain a saline solution that helps clear up that little munchkin's nasally breathing (not right away, I might add... like all good things, this too takes time, but results start to show in a few hours with my LO.) I personally like to buy the unscented, they also come in Fresh Scent and Great Grape Scent.
I've bought these at SuperStore and babies"R"us, but they can also be found on Amazon or at Walmart.

My brother recommended this soap to me, given that he's a bachelor and all, I can see why he loves it.
From the mommy/homemaker standpoint, there's no turning back. I bought this as a shampoo/bodywash, but now love it for literally everything it offers (and let me tell you, that is a fair bit).
-Shampoo/bodywash: highly recommended diluting a few drops into a Gatorade style squeeze bottle with only quarter cup or more of warm water, shake vigorously and use the ever flufy suds as your soap (direct contact with pure soap can burn your skin, this is why I make this suggestion). Great to use every other/couple washe(s) to strip away oils and start fresh... my hair has never felt thicker in my life, and, oh, the body: almost as curvy as Marilyn Monroe.
-Household cleaner: was slightly skeptical here, but as I was using it in my batch, I noticed the grime and layers of immovable stains on our bathtub start to melt away. Our once *gag* yellow tub, thanks to years of use and lack of cleaning from previous owners, is now a spotless brand-new white.
-I have yet to try the many other things this soap is known for, but I have no doubt it will absolutely live up to the claim. I can only imagine the miracles this would work in shampooing a vehicle.
Do NOT use this on your babies, it is far too potent and hard on their skin, especially the peppermint (judging from how my skin reacted, please note that I definitely did not test this on my babe after using myself).
