I received the Love Beauty & Planet Coconut Water & Mimosa Flower Radical Rrefresher Body Wash free to try in exchange for my honest review. I loved this product! The scent is so unique and smells very natural compared to a lot of other body washes I have used before. Very fresh and floral - definitely an energizing scent.
This body wash is on the thicker side and creates a very good lather. You don't need a lot of product, so this bottle would last quite a long time. I felt it left my skin feeling softer for sure.
You can't go wrong supporting a brand like this either: No animal testing, 100% vegan, organic, ethically sourced ingredients, recyclable packaging, no dyes or parabens. One of the first things I noticed is that the product is clear, something you rarely see in a body wash! I am super impressed and wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again!

I've had the Vileda ProMist MAX on my Amazon wishlist for quite some time now, so I was very excited to be sent this product from Family Rated in exchange for my honest review. I found this mop extremely sturdy and well-made, especially for one that has an extra component.
The bottle that holds the water/cleaner was easy to remove by just clicking a button, and putting it back on after filling was equally as easy. I may just have terrible upper arm strength, but I found pushing this mop around required a bit of muscle! But the head pivots well and it's easy to maneuver along the sides of walls, getting into areas you know have collected a lot of dust and dirt. The size of the pad is also larger than most other mops. For the most part I think that is a bonus, but it might be difficult in smaller spaces. I love that it's double-sided so that I can flip it and have a fresh surface for another room.
I think the bottle size is good for quick cleans. If I were to do my entire apartment I would likely need to fill it a second time. Because the amount of product is so controlled, my floors were dry within 10 minutes.
I also own the Vileda EasyWring Microfibre Spin Mop, but it is of course a bit more work to take out and fill a few times. I think the ProMist does a similar job but with much less hassle. I could see myself using this multiple times a week because it's so quick and easy to use. I could also see it being handy for those days you have company coming over and may not have lot of time to clean or wait for the floors to dry.
The price point for this mop is very fair, less than CDN$30. The refills are a bit pricey though (CDN$15), half the price of the whole mop. That being said, this is certainly more economical (and environmentally friendly!) than having to buy entire packs of refills like other wet mops! I'm not sure how long they will last at this point in time but I imagine they will withstand quite a few washes. The pad is easy to remove and throw in the wash.

I received Knorr One Skillet Meals in Steak & Peppers, Brown Rice and Quinoa free to try from Family Rated in exchange for my honest review. I think this type of product is good for two reasons: 1. It takes the thinking out of what to make when you are pressed for time, and 2. It's quick and you only have one dish to clean after. Although I personally prefer cooking from scratch, things like this are definitely good to have on hand. And if you are someone who struggles with seasoning and flavour and you're not sure what to add, these are super helpful because they take care of all that. If you don't like steak, you could easily use chicken or turkey, or you could even use tofu if you are vegetarian. You get the savoury flavours from the organic brown rice and quinoa, garlic and spices, and you get the touch of sweetness from the peppers. I found this to have really good flavour, overall. In less than 30 minutes I had a nice, wholesome meal - without a ton of calories, and without artificial flavours and colours. Makes 3-4 servings. -

I received Knorr Selects Roasted Garlic Pesto with Volanti Pasta free to try from Family Rated in exchange for my honest review. Although the package claims this is ready in 8 minutes, I had to cook it nearly double the amount of time and also add more water because the pasta was not cooked. Still, this was super easy to make and works well if you do not have the time to make your own sauce. I really liked the taste of this and personally did not find it too salty, and unless you hate pesto or garlic, you will probably love the intense flavour of both in this product. I would pair this side with protein, most likely chicken or perhaps shrimp. The portions are on the smaller side but it will still serve 2 as a side dish. I like that it has no preservatives or artificial flavours! -

I recently tried Knorr Selects Tomato, Basil & Garlic with Volanti Pasta for free from Family Rated in exchange for my honest review. When you first open the package, the smell of basil is very strong and wonderful! Cooking was extremely easy - only water and olive oil is needed. Although the package says 8 minutes, I definitely had to cook mine for at least 10-15. At 8 minutes the pasta was still hard. This side dish was very tasty and does not lack flavour at all. I was quite impressed. I feel like it would go well with pretty much any protein, especially chicken or shrimp. I also checked out the full list of ingredients on the website and could read them all. And with no artificial flavours or preservatives or colours from artificial sources, this makes me feel better about putting it in my body! This is definitely a quick and healthier option for those days where you need something to add to your meal in a pinch. Makes 2 servings. -

I absolutely love all Vim products, and I switched to this bathroom cleaner when I found that another popular brand name product I was using was giving me headaches due to the chemical smell. Vim does a fantastic job cleaning all porcelain and surfaces in my bathroom and does not have that overpowering, nauseating chemical scent most cleaners do. Highly recommended! -

When I saw the EOS Sweet Mint lip balm contained shea butter, I figured there was a good chance I'd love it because shea butter is one of my favourite skincare ingredients. Not only that, but all of the ingredients are 100% certified organic. When I can read all the ingredients on the back of a package, that's a good sign.
The EOS Sweet Mint smells very refreshing, but unlike the Stawberry Sorbet, the scent didn't last. It did have a tingling sensation like many mint balms, but it was short-lived. I couldn't really smell the mint after it was applied.
The formula is thick enough that you know you have something on your lips - which is my preference for a lip balm because I want it to stay on and work its moisture and healing magic - but light enough to be comfortable over a long period of time. It's very smooth and does not feel overly oily or sticky. It didn't change the pigmentation of my lips but it gave me a very natural, healthy-looking shine. I definitely felt It moisturized my lips the whole time it lasted and got rid of any dryness.
Given that I live in Canada, I feel like these will be a staple in my purse for the fall and especially the winter seasons. I like priming my lips with these before lipstick too!

When I saw the eos Strawberry Sorbet lip balm contained shes butter, I figured there was a good chance I'd love it because shea butter is one of my favourite skincare ingredients. Not only that, but all of the ingredients are 100% certified organic. When I can read all the ingredients on the back of a package, that's a good sign.
The Strawberry Sorbet smells SO good, like strawberries and cotton candy had a baby. (It contains real strawberry fruit extract.) Once applied, the smell is less prominent but still there.

I'm a bit of a make-up addict and I have tried plenty of mascaras, ranging from drugstore to high end. I would choose this mascara over any $20, $30, $40+ mascara every time. It is the only mascara that does not flake off on to my cheeks throughout the day, and it is also the only one that seems to both darken and lengthen my lashes (despite promises of other mascara commercials). It does not clump at all, and my lashes never stick together; they are always spread evenly. This mascara does not curl my lashes, but the bristles manage to cover all my lashes at the same time. Since it is curved, I use the U to coat all my lashes from the root, and then I use it the opposite way to comb through my lashes and make sure they are coated evenly. Works like a charm! I usually use about two coats and I am good to go, and I find this easy to use on my lower lashes as well. I cannot recommend this mascara enough - it has been my go-to for a few years now. I did try the Luscious version of this mascara but still prefer this one. I don't think I will ever use another mascara and I will be devastated if they ever take this one off the market! I can't tell you how many times I have recommended this to friends who ask me what my favourite mascara is. -

Whenever I hear the question about what someone's "ride or die palette" is, the one palette they couldn't live without, I know this one would be mine. It's the one I go to when I'm feeling uninspired, and it's the one I go to when I want to look my best. It's the one I reach for most often. This palette has the best selection of neutrals, both shimmers and mattes, and the pigmentation and blendability is stellar. You don't have to reach for a second palette because this has it all - including transitions, highlights and dark outer corner shades for a smoky look. A lot of people talk about Firecracker and it's for good reason - it is the PRETTIEST eyeshadow ever and I would die if they released it as a single! All in all, this is just the most perfect neutral palette. I love that I can create a whole shimmery OR a whole matte look, a natural look or a smoky look. Bonus: it smells like HEAVEN. Every time I open this palette my mouth waters! Smells like chocolate. -
