I received the Game of Life - Giant Edition Family Board Game for Indoor/Outdoor from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. I grew up playing the classic game with my family - so I was very excited to share the experience with my kids. The game concept is the same but the way you play is VERY different. When I read giant during the application phase I didn't expect it to be this GIANT! We did have loads of fun (my younger one got bored but its not really for his age anyways) and we will be bringing this along camping this summer. If you are expecting the game to be the same as the one from the 90s - it isn't - its improved to be more current which makes it even more fun. I do with the spinner would spin more - that was half the fun for the kids! -

We were gifted the Wizarding World Harry Potter Magical Minis First Year Set in exchange for our honest opinion. The 3 inch Harry, Ron and Hermoine are so well detailed, any child will feel connected to the story. I love how Fang and Hedwig are larger scaled which also make them more realistic. The toys definitely help provide hours of fun and imagination in acting out the first book and other future scenes or just making up your own. My eldest is very into HP and has read 3/4 of the series - he was extremely excited and surprised to receive this. It is definitely a cute toy to add to his already growing collection of Harry Potter. The only complaint he had was they didn't stand that well - you have to really get down and patient with them. I am guessing they stand better with the Hogwarts Castle as there was a tiny metal dot on their feet which I'm assuming is for a magnet on the actual castle. He also had a hard time unpackaging the toys (had to help him out). -

I had the pleasure of trying Chapman's new Canadian Peaches & Cream Frozen yogurt in exchange for my honest review. I've got to say...it was so delicious and creamy. After one day 1/4 of this large tub was eaten! Our family are a bit of ice cream snobs and hate the traditional frozen desserts. We couldn't believe this was frozen yogurt. It was so creamy! The peach flavour really comes through and love the little bits of "candied" peaches thrown into the mix. #TryChapmansCanada #gotitfree -

I was given a sample of Kit Set Citrus Powdered Drink Mix in exchange for my honest review from Butterly. The product that you can buy in-market is CBD Infused (this was not). The drink's intentions from what I gather is to energize, hydrate and refresh you for either a workout or as a pick me up. I mixed the powder with about 500ml of water. I did find the drink to be a bit diluted (hence the 4*). I drank it during a tough leg/cardio workout and finished it afterwards. I did like the notes of orange and mango as it is a step up from just drinking water. I wonder if the CBD version has a stronger taste. Although I did enjoy the drink, I'm on the fence whether or not it would be something I would consider buying. I currently take a pre-workout drink that I really enjoy that has the same benefits and tastes amazing. If someone offered it to me or asked if I would recommend it, I would say YES! -

I've been fortunate to receive the L'Oréal Paris Wrinkle Expert 45+ Night Moisturizer for free in exchange for my honest review. I've been using along side the Day version of this product. Just like the day cream, I love the way it feels on my skin and how it smell. It is a bit oily I'm guessing because its a night cream and some will wipe off over night. I do notice though I am not breaking out at all. I'm very happy with the result thus far. My fine lines are looking a lot finer, and the elasticity of my skin is getting better as well. I'm also using this along side a skin care regime. I use micellar water to take my makeup off, I wash my face well and use a PMD clean during the process. After washing and drying, I'm using Witch hazel as my toner. I am then using a Night serum for anti aging following this lovely moisturizer. I'm sure it was a combination of all these things - however I'm finally seeing some results which I wasn't previously. Thank you! -

I was fortunate to receive L'Oréal Paris Wrinkle Expert 45+ Anti-Wrinkle Day Moisturizer in exchange for my honest review. I'm now at an age where I am seeing less elasticity in my skin (not yet 45 but close!) and have been looking for new products to help slow down the aging process. I have recently purchased night serums for this exact reason, and was looking for some great day and night creams as well. I love how the moisturizer feels on my face. It isn't oily and spreads very well. I feel I have been seeing an improvement in my skin over the past few weeks. I know it won't replace what injectables would do, but it is a great opportunity to start here for an affordable price. -

I was given the opportunity to test out Garnier's Whole Blends Shampoo Bar in Honey Treasures, that is meant for repairing damaged hair for free in exchange for my honest review. This was the first time I've ever used a shampoo bar as I'm more accustomed to traditional liquid shampoos. I love how it is eco friendly with it's plastic free packaging. I was a bit skeptical at first as I wasn't sure of the lather that would happen with this method. After playing around with the bar in the water in my hands and directly in my hair I felt I was able to get a good suds going. The shampoo lathered well and smelled great! I've only been purchasing silicone free shampoos lately so I was happy when this was also the case. I love how it is cruelty free as well. I guess the only complaint I have as a first time user of these method - I didn't have a case to store the shampoo after I washed my hair and had to place it back into the box. I almost wish you can buy a "refill" option as well as buy one with a case. I followed up with my typical conditioner and my hair felt great even days after. The sample sachet was very small but I was able to get a good idea of how the product feels. If the intention is long lasting results, the sample size hinders an honest review. I was lucky to receive a package of Pur Grains Thai Garlic Chili Falvour Ancient Grain side dish for free in exchange for my honest review. It comes in a great size package enough for a side dish for my husband and I. He doesn't love all the grains so I decide to make a meal of it for myself! It was easy enough to heat up (and wasn't too hot right out of the microwave). I tasted it first as is to see what the flavour was all about. It was delicious, however I wanted to make it more of a meal so I added chick peas, diced tomatoes and diced red bell peppers. Superb! I don't know how much it costs but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour profile. I think I will look for it the next time I'm at the grocery store. #GotItFree #PurGrains #ChickAdvisor -
