I was initially nervous to try this at-home wax kit as I am used to getting it done in a salon, however after reading the included easy-to-follow instructions, I was able to instantly relax. The great thing about this Nair wax is that there was absolutely NO mess! I had newspaper laid out all around me and on the counter expecting some goopy disaster, but the consistency of the warm wax was similar to that of honey, so there was no spillage. The smell was nice and calming actually because it gave off the pleasant scent of argan oil, which masked the typical pungent smell of salon waxes. The wax seems to be designed in removing those pesky hard to grip fine little hairs, so that worked on my legs, which other brands' waxes usually miss. It's also a bonus that if you only use half of the tub, there are instructions that tell you how to use (proper heating, etc.) the other half at a later date. -

I just started using this product about a week ago, and I am loving it already! What I love most about this product is that it is 100% NATURAL. That's right, there are no harsh anti-aging chemicals within any of the Consonant products. I can feel confident that I am truly nourishing my skin with natural ingredients that are healthy for it as well. This serum is great as it absorbs quickly into clean skin without living a greasy shiny finish. I have sensitive skin and this is nice and light, but still super hydrating! I have been using another serum for the past 3 years, which has been great, but unfortunately contains WAY too many chemicals. Since I have found this one that delivers the same (if not better) results, I am now most definitely doing the permanent switch to Consonant's HydrExtreme! -

Vega One is the only protein powder/nutritional shake brand that I will ever use! I trust it, it actually works, and the taste isn't fake or bland. I specifically like this Vanilla Chai flavour in my smoothies as it thickens up nicely and has a nice scent (it also hides the flavour of my spinach that I put in, phew). It is vegan, gluten-free, and pretty low in sugar which is really unique in protein powders. The best part about it is that it is filling, so you're not craving for more/solid food after! I recently started to find Vega One products in Bulk Barn, so if you find it too expensive, it's carried there. -

Finding the perfect highlighter can be tricky as you want to give the appearance of a natural glow, and not some sweaty-like greasy appearance. I love this highlighter/complexion enhancer, and it has become a staple in my makeup kit. It is very different in that it is in liquid form, however I think it is perfect as a little goes a very long way. I have had the bottle for a long time now, and it does not look like I am going to be finished it any time soon! This highlighter gives the most perfect glow/sheen with its pink undertone. I love that you can wear it under or over your foundation and/or powder, and even apply it on your brow bones, cheeks, nose, and right above the lip. Don't get too carried away with application though as you must make sure you blend it well or else it can look cakey. The nail polish type bottle is a little strange, but it's been working fine just the way it is (it's nice that I don't need to use my own brush). -

It is super pigmented so you can skip that extra step of wetting your brush to allow the colour to stick. Coconut Grove is completely matte so it is great for every day looks in defining the crease of the eye (hello, bigger eyes!). It is great in building it up for a nighttime smokey look too. It blends perfectly with other colours, and so far, I have experienced no fallout with it either (I'd rather not define my under-eye circles thank you very much). -

I LOVE the sun. I NEED my Vitamin D. My fair freckled skin begs to differ though. I burn before I can say "yay the sun's out!" SPF 50's and me have one strong relationship when it comes to vacation getaways, and this one is by far my favourite. It is super lightweight, yet its sensitive skin formula lasts for hours. I did a little self-test (Caribbean sun is extremely strong), and applied two different brands of sunscreen on my body, and guess which one I didn't burn with (obviously, Coppertone was the winner). I can finally relax and enjoy the sun when I am on vacation with this sunscreen, and I don't feel like I have to shadow hop. Also, this sunscreen did not clog my pores once. Extra bonus! -

I was a little skeptical of this product at first because how in the world is a lipstick supposed to stay on for 24 hours?! Well, I did the 'eating test' and at hour 3, the lipstick was still on post-meal! It didn't budge, smear, or smudge one bit. I had an apple which biting into one is a nightmare for lipstick, but not this one! I'm coming up to hour 5 with the lipstick on, and it is still the same! I find the product to be more of a lip stain rather than a lipstick, so that's probably where the long-lasting effect comes in.
I find that a lip liner is definitely needed with this product as making precise lines on my lips was a little difficult with their brush. The colour "Cherry noir" is a nice deep berry colour, which is perfect for the Fall. It is very pigmented which is great! The colour in the bottle is more of a deep red/burgundy so be cautious of that. Love this product though, and now I want to check out the others!

I love all three of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes, but I especially like this one because of all the warm toned shades. The rose gold shade is very flattering on any skin tone. The colours are quite pigmented so a little goes a long way too! Some of these shades I use with every look I do, and I am no where near hitting pan. They blend easily and they compliment every type of makeup look; everything you need in a great eyeshadow palette! It's rare to come across a palette in which every colour is amazing, but in this one, every colour actually is! -

I first tried this primer at the beginning of this year, and it has now become a permanent staple in my makeup routine. When they say "poreless," they really mean poreless! It completely mattifies my whole face and reduces the look of pores. It is so good that sometimes this is the only makeup product I will wear out as it smooths out the skin without the need for foundation. I have a lot of redness around the sides of my nose, and this completely covers it up. I don't know if this product is meant to do this or not, but it leaves my face feeling so smooth too!
The tube is a little expensive, however it is SO worth it. I am still on the same one I bought six months ago, and I use this every day! As soon as mine is done, I will definitely be running out to buy some more.

I love Love LOVE this mask. It honestly does what it says; it hydrates, it reduces redness, and it smells/feels good too. I have redness around my nose and my chin, so I just rub some of this on, leave it for 10 minutes, and then have the confidence to skip the concealer for that day (I know, crazy, it's THAT good)!
I also love how you can put this mask on your skin in places that have been overexposed to too much sun for that day (oops, guilty). It calms and cools the inflamed skin, and hydrates it back up as to avoid peeling.
