First, I need to disclose that I got a discount from Product Review Club to try this service. Before March 2020 and the lockdown due to COVID-19, I had never ordered my groceries online. I always assumed that it was too expensive and unnecessary. Since personal distancing began. I decided to try ordering my groceries so that I wouldn't have to go to the stores. We have tried many companies - Instacart, Metro, Cornershop,Grocery Gateway and Amazon. They each have their pluses and minuses. It depends on the stores and brands you prefer. One of the biggest challenges is getting the items I ordered without substitutions. When I heard about Voila by Sobeys and was offered the discount, I figured I would try it.
The website is easy to navigate. Lots of delivery times were available. I was also able to modify my order by the night before my delivery date. I hadn't shopped for groceries in 2 weeks so I had a long list of items I wanted. Most items were available. The only things missing were fresh blueberries and fresh cherries.
Orders are filled at a warehouse like Grocery Gateway unlike other services like Metro with their own staff in stores or Instacart and Cornershop where people do the shopping for you.
I received a phone cal 10 minutes ahead of the delivery to tell me they were on their way. The truck arrived within the chosen time. The driver was very pleasant and placed the bags of groceries on my front porch. The truck has a refrigerated section so cold and frozen items were cold and dry goods were dry. Heavy items were double bagged as were refrigerated items (steaks, orange juice). Cleaning items like lysol wipes (they had some) and anti bac hand gel were also double bagged. I bought some items in jars and they arrived in a cardboard holder with sections to protect them from breaking. There was a lot of thought put into how these groceries were packed. Very impressed! I was a cashier in a grocery store so I notice these things.
Most importantly, I got all the items that I ordered with no substitutions. This has been a problem with other services where I received a substitution of a product and I didn't like the brand provided.
The delivery fee is $7.99 per order. No additional surcharge or tip.
I was vey impressed with Voila by Sobeys. I don't think I would have known about this service or would have tried it since there aren't any Sobeys stores nearby. Now having tried it, I would say its the best service of its kind in the GTA and I will order from them in future.

I purchased the Tropical flavour. I don't have young children at home so this was for me. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but I did. It is easy to take with me to work and leave in my desk for an emergecy healthy snack. I would buy this again.

Dawn Ultra Dishwashing Liquid - Original
I love Dawn dish soap. I won't buy any other brand. A little goes a long way. I even use it as a spot cleaner for clothes and to take away the itch of bug bites.

Dempster's Original Bagels
Our family tried the Dempster's plain bagels. We usually buy Dempster's mutigrain bagels because we like the seeds and the texture. The plain bagels are fresh and soft but we miss the seeds.

It is a cooling gel and has a pleasant smell. A little sticky but soaks in well. Nice for summer. I have noticed a difference in the appearance and feel of my skin using this and the serum. I will continue to use this product even if I have to buy it myself. -

I received this product as part of the Vichy test trilogy with the Neovadiol serum and night cream. I started using this during some very hot and humid weather. I found it to be a bit heavy for this time of year. It left my face soft but a bit greasy. I like the scent but would find the weight of the product better suited to winter due to its heaviness. I wear a daily sunscreen and would have stuck with the product if it contained one. I have enjoyed using the Vichy product line for the first time and will continue to use it in future. -
