It’s as effective as regular oil like olive or coconut oil although it is less greasy once rinsed off. I found it irritated the eye area slightly—for that reason it wouldn’t be worth buying. It has a slight smell and not too offensive but be careful when using as it’s very fluid and will drop onto the floor/clothes and it will be quite unsafe if you slip on it. I ended up using my regular makeup wipes to remove the remaining eye makeup. Oil formula/regular cooking oil is best for heavier makeup on the face, I would try to use it directly on a cotton pad for easier use. I received a sample of the Shu Uemura oil. -

It’s a nice serum, it didn’t cause acne or irritation. It doesn’t mix well with other products like creams or primers. It has slight stickiness and leaves a shiny appearance. For those looking for a dewy look this would be good to use. For my skin type which is oily/combination it had drawbacks but I used it when not wearing makeup instead. It will be used as a treatment or at night or when I don’t need to use face makeup for creating a natural-skin look. The aloe vera seems to be soothing for acne or red tones in the skin. -

In 500ml of water the flavour was not very strong. It is sweetened with stevia and erythritol which masks the fruit flavours and if there was cannabis in the sample, I’m certain it wouldn’t cover up a strong medicinal taste.
