I really loved the color of the Revlon ultra hd matte in obsession. I wish it were more than a foil packet. I wore it to a wedding and didn’t bring the small amount remaining for reapplication because how does one travel with that? Anyhow, I thought the color was lovely and it wasn’t overly drying. I’m not sure I’m keen on the matte look–seems to highlight lines in my lips and I don’t care for that. -

You know what else was super duper good? the Splenda Natural. I wouldn’t have outright bought this b/c I hate Stevia, but I do love Splenda. Mostly, it’s the after taste that kills it for me. This Natural is made from the Stevia plant but is slightly different than the usual so there is not chemical or bitter after taste. I did read their insert and they explain this–but my mosh-moshy brain does not remember. -

What a great little idea to put a cleanser in stick form (like bar soap) and in a tube! Pretty clever. One major drawback for me is that germs/bacteria can and will accumulate on the stick. I read somewhere that it happens on bar soap, so I’m guessing it would be true for this as well. yuck. I ‘panned’ this 2/24 and it’s just taken me this long to post. It was a nice little exfoliater and I liked that it left purple on my skin–you can see where you’ve applied before you rub it in. To be honest, it’s been long enough that I don’t remember the scent. I do remember thinking, I like that it’s portable. I don’t see myself buying this, but it was a novelty. -

I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that this was due to the sample size tube I was using. It definitely made it an uphill battle for this little mascara to convince me from there. I was rubbing my counters hard trying to get the formula off where it had splattered. Yeah, I pulled the wand out pretty hard. Again, with less expensive formulas available, this isn’t something I’ll be springing for. I do like that it sort of is a statement eye–very dark. -
