I find that the Aveeno formulation to be more effective for very dry skin. It might be okay for summer but doesn't survive the harsh Canadian winters. -

You really will 'get addicted' to this lip balm. It has no scent, no colour, and leaves your lips feeling so soft. It definitely doesnt need to be reapplied alot as well if I put on at night time, I will definitely wake up with incredibly soft lips. It costs about $6 so its very cost effective. This is the only lip balm I have fully finished to the bottom. -

It costs about 1$/oz, and its a 12 oz bottle and I get it online (iherb.com specifically). I have to be quite frugal with where I place this lotion so I save it only for my chest and upper back. Love this lotion. -

If you're a darker lady with combination to oily skin who wants a mineral sunscreen with a matte finish, and no white cast.....then this is your sunscreen. I am a Maybelline Fit Me foundation colour 320, and I found that this sunscreen did not leave any white cast. This sunscreen has 6% Zinc Oxide and 2.32 % Titanium Dioxide. It has a very matte finish and absorbs in about 10 mins. The price is about 24$ which is alot for 60ml of product, but since I use it only as a face moisturizer/sunscreen, I find that it lasts about 2 months for me. Overall, a great product. -

I tried the Alpha Hydrox lotion so I thought that a stronger forumlation would help with my dull complexion. I used it day and night after cleansing and left the product alone for 20 minutes and I found that overall there was no improvement to my skin after 4 weeks. Im going to keep trying but so far its a bust. The souffle itself is very light and has a fragrance similar to a lactic acid peel. Definitely a product that can be layered. I test the pH and found to be about 3.5 to 4.0, which indicates that the product was in the effective range. So this worked well with my more effective BHA product. -
