Lush's NEW! shampoo bar is fantastic. It is especially great when travelling as it takes up almost no space and you dont need to worry about the bottle spilling in your suitcase(plus it can go in your carry on if you're not checking luggage). I love the cinamon scent and find that when i regularly use New! my hair does seem shinier and thicker.
It is a bt expensive but, I feel it is worth the price hence the 5 starts on price.
The only con is that you need to store it in a dry place otherwie like any bar of soap it will get mushy and bit nasty and not last very long..

I first tried this lotion when staying at a hotel. Usually hotel products are gross but the scent of this set was so niceI took everything home. About a month later I found the lotion in my bag and was surprised to find it was a bath and body works product. So I ran t the store near my office and was unable to find the lotion because they'd changed the name (it used to be coconut lime verbena).
It smells a bit like cocoa butter with hint of citrus. The scent reminds me of summer. The lotion is thick enough to feel like it's really moisturizing your skin but not gloppy or heavy feeling. It absorbs quickly and leaves a nice summery scent that lasts all day.
Given how nice this lotion has been I'm curious to try the rest of the lotions offered by bath and body works.

I've been looking for a good sheer coverage foundation for a while that didnt make me look ill. I've finally found the perfect product. The Bobbi Brown tinted moisturizing balm provides light coverage, doesnt feel heavy or greasy and has an spf 25 so I dont need to also use a sunblock when wearing it. It glides on and blends easily so application is super quick.
The salesgirl at Murale reccomended using it as a foundation not as a moisturizer but it does work well either way if you're in a rush.
It's not unscented and does have some sort of perfume in it that I cant quite pinpoint but it's not over powering (I like it) but if you don't like scented products it might not work for you.
It is a somewhat expensive product but, I find that I dont need much product to get a nice even coverage and the pot is relatively big so I think it's worth it.

I got a sample of the Nars soft touch shadow pencil in Aigle Noir at Sephora this weekend and it is the bestest ever! It was a free sample but I've already ordered a proper full sized version of it.
It's a thick creamy pencil and the colour is a nice dark black with a bit of shimmery gold in it. From some angles it looks black but then you turn and it's bronze then it looks black with a gold shimmer which adds a nice extra dimenson to what would otherwise be regular old black eye liner. The shimmer really brings out your eyes. It also comes in 4 more colours ( a green a pink a whiteish gold and a copper colour) that all appear to have a bit of shimmer in them.
The consistency lends itself to smudging to make a nice smokey eye with a bit of shimmer. The only challenge is that because it's so thick it is hard to work into a fine line but that could probably be accomplished with a liner brush instead of applying straight from the tube.

I received a free trial of Vaseline Sheer Infusion from ChickAdvisor (thank you!!) and it is fantastic! I have suffered from extreme dry skin on my shins for the past three winters and since using sheer infusion it has completely disappeared.
Pro's: the consistency is light (somewhere between a lotion and a gel), it absorbs quickly and feels like it is actually moisturizing not just laying on top of my skin. It doesn't wash away quickly (I used some on my hands and then washed a few dishes without gloves about a half hour later and didn't feel the need to reapply).
Con's: The packaging doesn't distinguish what the different is between the three choices. I ended up using the mineral version but would like to know what the difference is between it and the vitamin or the botanical blend. The listed price where I picked up my sample was $9.49 and was a bit more expensive than other vaseline products. However, I havent been using as much because I dont need to re-apply it as often. The scent is a bit flowery and can be overpowering - an un-scented version would be perfect.
