I really enjoyed the Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Blueberry Almond with Açai Flavour and this was my second favourite of the three bars i received for review. It has a strong but wonderfully inviting blueberry aroma when you open the package. I found the taste of blueberry to be strong - maybe a bit too strong and slightly artificial tasting. The açai flavour was barely noticeable and just gave it just a hint of tartness. Almonds are not my favourite nut but I was happily surprised that it worked well with the blueberry & açai flavours. Just the right amount/size of almond pieces were used which gives the bar a good texture. The quality of Brookside chocolate is always great and worth paying a bit more for. I will likely purchase this flavour again.

I found the Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Tart Cherry Crisp with Pomegranate Flavour to be absolutely delicious! I was surprised that this ended up being my favourite flavour as, based on the "Tart Cherry" in the description, I was expecting more of a sour cherry taste. The cherry flavour was perfect - not too weak, not too strong. The cherry pairs perfectly with the pomegranate. The crispiness when you bite into this bar is wonderful! Quality is exceptional. This really is one of the best chocolate bars I've ever tasted and I will definitely be purchasing this flavour again! #BrooksideChocoalteBars

I was most excited to try the Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar in Mango Coconut Crunch as mango is one of my favourite fruits. Sadly, it ended up being the flavour I liked the least. While I enjoyed the strong mango taste, I did not feel it paired well with the coconut which was overpowered. While I enjoy the taste of coconut, I've never really been a big fan of shredded coconut because I do not like the texture. In this particular Brookside Chocolate Tablet Bar, I found the coconut pieces to be of a size that for some reason, little bits ended up left in my mouth/in between my teeth after finishing the piece I had eaten. I found this irritating and it took away from my enjoyment of this chocolate bar. On a positive note, I must say that the quality of Brookside chocolate is always great and this bar is no exception. Personally, I would have preferred pieces of mango inside with the coconut left out.

I have tried a number of dry shampoos without much success. If I use it on a day where I haven't washed my hair, it still looks and feels greasy. I have to say that out of all the dry shampoos I've tried, Batiste is my favourite and has performed the best. The smell is divine and after applying, my hair was not as greasy as other products left it. It lasted longer to and even added some volume to my hair when I applied it while my longer hair was bent over. I would recommend this product and will purchase it again. -

I'm very pleased and grateful to have received a free product coupon to try this product from the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club! I love that this product is low-calorie, highly nutritious and no sugar. I chose to purchase the Dream Blends Coconut & Almond (Unsweetened) because I wanted to try the Dreamy Carrot Cake recipe which was included with the Chick Advisor package I received, which called for this particular blend as an ingredient. Normally, I would not purchase this blend since despite my husband and I being lactose-intolerant and regularly drinking Non-Dairy beverages, we do not like the Unsweetened varieties to drink on their own.
I followed the recipe exactly, leaving out the walnuts (optional) and making a cream cheese icing. I used a piece up of my son's gingerbread house, put it in the blender to ground up and used it to decoratively sprinkle on top of the cake. Although it took 30 mins longer than the 40 mins bake time indicated on the recipe card, it turned out perfectly! The taste was amazing!! It was moist and not heavy, compared to many other carrot cakes I've tried. I would definitely purchase this product again! I did try the Dream Blends Coconut & Almond on it's own and as I suspected, I did not enjoy the taste. However, I would definitely use this product again in baking and smoothies. I will be purchasing other flavours as well and will try the other recipes provided by Chick Advisor! A big "Thank You" to ChickAdvisor for the adorable cupcake cake tester and placemats which were included as extras in the package!! #TasteTheDream @haincelestial

I was given this product free for review from ChickAdvisor. Thanks to Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips, gone are the days of using whatever tape I had on hand to hem up my pants! I would have unsightly creases in my pants and the tape would never hold. I've never been good at sewing and have never owned a sewing machine so other than relying on family or friends who could sew, this was my only option. I wish this product had been around sooner! It is so easy to use and actually works! No creasing & it holds up in the wash! Be sure to wash in cold and low temp dry, though! It's really as easy and peel & stick! I measured my hem on both pant legs first but did not find using an iron to form a crease was necessary. Moisten your fingers before use to prevent sticking to fingers. Peel tape backing off carefully & position tape. Rub firmly & careful peel off top backing. Fold fabric on hemline and rub firmly. It really is so easy & is a life-saver for someone like me who does not sew and finds pants I buy are almost always too long! I highly recommend this product and will definitely purchase again! -

Really, I've never been very good at sewing and actually, thanks to my cranky Home Ec teacher in school, I hate it! I've had to sew on my fair share of buttons though. As I get older and my eyesight is not as good as it used to be, it's a real struggle. Threading the needle is a nightmare! Scotch Essentials Easy Fix Button is a breeze to use. I would stick to the traditional method of sewing on a button if I lost a button at home however, if you are on-the-go and in a pinch, this product is great! It cannot be washed so you would have to remember to take it off before washing the garment. May or may not happen with my memory. All in all, I think this product is good if you lose a button away from home. Is it a must-have? Probably not, but the concept is great and the product does work well. I appreciate the opportunity I was given to try this product for free for review from ChickAdvisor! -

Many a time, if my pants were too long, I would grab whatever tape I happened to have on hand (ie. scotch tape, packing tape, duct tape) and apply it to the inside of my hem to shorten them. Well, thanks to Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape, those days are over! This product is amazing and so easy to use! I applied 2 hem tape strips to each pant leg, which was probably overkill but I'm dealing with an active 5 year old boy so I wanted extra security. Peel off backing, apply to hem, peel off double-sided backing, fold up pant leg, press and voila, problem was solved. No one would ever notice. NO bunching at all. I have about 7 pairs of pants, mine & my son's, that require use of this product. I will most definitely be purchasing this product again and highly recommend it! It really is worth every penny! -

My son is very picky when it comes to cheeses and he really only likes mozzarella. We purchase Black Diamond Cheesestrings (Mozzarella) because it's a great way for our son to eat healthy and get the calcium he needs. They are super convenient to pack along in his school lunch and are great for snacking (my husband and I have been known to sneak them, too)! I've found them to be a little pricier than other brands but the consistency, taste and quality is very good and worth the extra money. We will definitely continue to buy Black Diamond Cheesestrings and highly recommend them! -
