I was excited to try out Chapman’s new premium plus Cherry Chocolate Truffle Ice Cream and boy did it not disappoint! Made with 100% real Canadian cream, black cherries and bits of chocolate truffle chunks, it is a decadent and sinfully delicious indulgence. Even my partner who does not like black cherry ice cream was so pleasantly surprised that he went back for seconds! This flavour is a homerun! My only one request is why does it only come in 500mL sizes? I blinked and it was all gone!

I’ve been using cleansing foam to wash my face daily and on occasions with waterproof makeup need to wash my face twice in order to fully remove the residual residue. So when I received the opportunity to try out Shu Uemura’s Ultime8 beyond cleansing oil I was excited to try!
I applied the oil to my face and slowly worked it in in circular motions to help dissolve the makeup. I then added in a little bit of water to help emulsify and continued on with the circular motions. Finally I washed it off and followed up with toner which helped left my face feeling soft, hydrated and luxurious. It’s a little bit expensive but would definitely consider buying a full size bottle of it!

“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream!” I had the opportunity to try @ChapmansIceCream in Maple Crunch and it was delightfully Canadian with just the right amount of maple flavour! The presentation was clever and spot on cute as it had a “maple” leaf throughout. The flavour was just perfect amount of creaminess and wasn’t overly sweet. Definitely worth checking out and adding to the list of ice creams on rotation!

On its own individually the scent doesn’t lasts up to 48hrs. Definitely provides good protection to keep odours at bay all day without smelling like Pepe Le Pew!

I received this sample and was excited to try due to the cheeky title “Sneakers & Cookies”. At first whiff, I felt like this was more of a masculine scent so I gave it to my partner to use. He really enjoyed the smell. At first lather it seemed a little strong but then mellows down and is a really a pleasing scent on his skin, think vanilla with a little bit of leather. I think this is a great alternative for people who don’t like to wear fragrances or may be sensitive to fragrances as it is subtle and not cloying or over bearing. I will be purchasing once my sample runs out!

With this being a strange year because of the pandemic, a few things have slightly gone on the wayside and that also includes some facial grooming. It's been such a long time since I've threaded my brows and upper lips that I really wasn't looking forward to the redness and sensitivity again.
I tried the Finishing Touch Flawless and it was awesome! Quick, easy, painless, no redness and very gentle for all skin types. Bonus built-in light makes it easy to see the fine facial hairs and unit is small compact enough to carry in purse. This awesome tool takes less time than threading, I’m only sad that I didn't discover it sooner! It's a great and effective tool!

A high SPF facial sunscreen is very important and hard to find especially when you have combination skin and don't want your face to end up looking like an oil slide! So I was very excited to try this out when I was provided the opportunity through @ChickAdvisor.
At first I wasn't sure how to apply the product and despite it being called "face mist sunscreen" you do not apply directly on face. You need to spray onto hands and rub on face as you want to avoid getting it in your eyes and mouth. After applying moisturizer, I would apply on the sunscreen and let it set before I begin to put on my light makeup. Though it is oil-free, I find it leaves a light sheen on my face. But an added bonus it does not leave a white cast. The sunscreen did last after running a full day of errands which is great and no oil slide!
If not wearing any makeup, I can see myself applying the face mist sunscreen a couple of more times throughout the day, more so especially in warmer/hotter weather when there's more perspiration happening. But as far as that goes, I would not be applying this again over a face full of makeup especially since you can't spray directly on face.

Love the fact that they are small and compact to fit in a purse or even fanny pack! It does a great job of removing all face makeup with ease and no stinging or dryness after the fact. These are perfect for on the go or travel as the size makes it really easy to take anywhere but for daily use, I would prefer not to use simply for the environmental impact because of amount of package waste. But overall I am very pleased and would purchase for the convenience factor when on the go!

I’m always looking for a good anti-wrinkle cream and was very excited to have the opportunity to try this drugstore version. It claims “visibly younger and smoother skin in one week” which is a tall order! I wasn’t sure what to expect but tried this cream diligently twice a day for two and half weeks.
The cream is thick, non-greasy and absorbs well, a little goes a long way. It has a nice light sweet scent but not overpowering. It took almost 2.5 weeks before I was able to notice some results - fine lines were softer, complexion appeared even and pores seems smaller. Not a full miracle in a little jar but nonetheless am pleasantly surprised and happy with results.

I grew up on peanut butter and was curious to try this. It definitely does taste similar to PB but there is a slight after taste. I would not buy again for myself but would definitely recommend to others as it is indeed a great alternative!
