At this point I’m unsure how many variations of Etude House Kissful Tint Chou are around. They keep repackaging, revamping, and re-releasing it to intentionally confused me.
For shame Etude House for shame!
They know I’ll keep buying it that’s why. And you should consider buying it too because it is THEE bestest lip stain ever. Tired of stains drying your lips out? The thing that’s so fab about Kissful Tint Chou is definitely the texture and wear of the product. This has a gel-like texture with a water base so it applies like a looser glossier lip product. This results in a glossy finish and a comfortable wear that doesn’t dry lips out. The glossiness and the thinner layer of the product wears away within an hour or so but it leaves behind a staining effect that will last around three hours without eating or drinking. At first application it feels like a cool drink of water on your lips and doesn’t have a drying set. After it wears away a little the stain also doesn’t leave lips feeling dry nor does it leave your lips with a cracked look that accentuates the finer lines, nooks, and crannies we all naturally have on the skin of our lips. In this fact it makes a far superior lip stain when compared to using a liquid one such as Benetint.

Ok, so yeah, sure I love chubby lip pencils and crayons no great secret there right? But that’s not why I love the Perfekt Lip Perfekt (although it does make me very happy it’s a chubby lip crayon none the less).
Nope the thing I love about this pencil is the shade. It’s such a gorgeously natural brown based shade of pink! Ok, so maybe brown might sounds off…it is a light brownish undertone and a delicious dusky pink shade that’s just perfect. I love MLBB (my lips but better) lip shades and this color just takes things to the perfect level of natural lip color. It gives my lips such a natural, gorgeous pink finish.
The formula has a soft, easy melt-y glide on lips. I find the pencil is very soft and almost melts as it touches lips for an easy slide on lips and a gorgeous shiny look and finish. The texture of the pencil is divine as it not only feels moist and comforting on lips but also provides a very nice shiny look. I don’t get a balminess in the least to this formula, it almost melts as it applies which makes it very emollient feeling! The color is quite pigmented so it doesn’t necessarily enhance your own natural lip color BUT ADDS it’s own natural color to your lips. It has a subtle sweet peppermint taste and fragrance.

This new formulation is just as lovely as the old and produces a very soft focused finish. It’s something that’s not terribly visible but it’s enough to give your skin a smoother more radiant finish. So if for some reason you come across a photo where my skin is looking nice, blame it on the pearls
According to Guerlain the pearls are softer now which eases application. This is actually true you can see that the less dense pearls produce more powder on your brush and allow for a single application versus going back and swirling your brush into the pot a few times to build.
Clair isn’t a shade I’d recommend for darker skin tones which is why I’m happy that Guerlain now offers the graduating colors that will suit many skin tones. Clair is sometime that might appear a bit ashy on medium or darker tones but now you can indulge in darker shades of the pearls to suit such a skin tone.
Of course, I can’t leave this review without mentioning the beautiful scent of Meteorites. These have a lovely sweet violet scent!
You might feel they are expensive but Guerlain Meteorites Pearls are a traditional and classic part of high end makeup that’s well loved by many. If you used, own, and already adore the product I’m positive you’re excited about the relaunch!

It’s a smaller brush but the handle fits very nicely in my hand and gives my excellent control as I apply foundation (or blush). The bristles are short, dense, and very, very soft. I like how the shorter bristles fit the natural curves and contours of my face which allows me to buff color into my skin and sheer it out to a natural, smooth finish. If you’re looking for an inexpensive foundation brush I’d recommend a pick up of the Pixi Full Cover Foundation Brush! It’s a great little brush for buffing both foundation and cream blush into skin for a seamless, airbrushed finish! -

I actually wouldn’t call it highly moisturizing as it dries down to a near matte finish but it isn’t a finish that clings to my drier area and it doesn’t dry out my skin either. A rich, creamy traditional BB Cream formula which actually provides medium coverage! Only a small amount is needed to even out skin tone, brighten, and perfect it. I find with or without primer the wear time is excellent. It wears for a solid seven hours without fading and providing a very natural. second skin finish. It doesn’t look like makeup, it doesn’t wear like makeup, it’s very breathable and natural with a truly long wear. I don’t feel it becomes shiny or oily as the day progresses yet the matte finish feels very comfortable on my drier skin. It eases dullness, brightens, and creates a more uniformed skin tone for me with a very polished, almost airbrushed finish. This is the type coverage that’s breathable and perfect for your Summer looks without creating unnecessary shine yet remaining completely flawless and long wearing all day. -

Those who have dabbled in Asian sun protection will understand the term "milky type" as that's reference to the formula which resembles a runny liquid, ie, milk. The product absorbs easily, it starts off a tad oily but it dries down to a smooth, matte finish. Since it's so lightweight and wears easily under makeup, the smooth finish of the product allows the skin to breathe plus wears extremely well in high levels of humidity and heat. On the up side it doesn't leave behind a white cast either. Those wanted all day sun protection without having to touch up often this is the one for you. -

I think minimal makeup users can embrace this as a daily cleanser but if you're wearing a good deal of eye makeup daily this probably will be best suited for super quick clean ups when you're tired but not for removing all your makeup easily. -
