This bread is amazing, low calorie, low carb, tastes GREAT! Most other lower carb/calorie breads, like Weight Watchers (100 Calories, 20g Net carbs per 2 slices) are lower calorie than regular white bread because they are smaller sized slices/servings, but Aunt Millie's is the same standard size slice that is customary. Don't let the "whole grain" fool you. I am not generally a wheat or whole grain fan, I like soft fluffy white bread, and this totally fits the bill. BONUS: it's only 35 calories and 12g Net carbs per 2 slices, bigger slices, better nutritional values than my old Weight Watchers, so it's a win/win! Puts grilled cheese, tuna salad sandwiches, and french toast back in my low carb diet. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. -

My husband and I were pleased when a new fast food option came to our part of Ontario and "Popeye's Chicken" opened their doors earlier this month. Our first time through we ordered the reg. chicken meal and found it to be very similar to KFC. The second time we tried the spicy chicken, and cajun fries and enjoyed it so much more than the reg. The prices are a little high, (but then aren't they all?) and the window staff seemed a little scattered as we had to place our order 3x via the speaker box before giving up and driving up to the window to clarify. I am sure the staff issues will be worked out as time goes on. -

I am a creature of habit and generally order the same thing if I am out and want to stop and pick up a quick meal. I do like Subway when I am craving something a little on the "fresher" or "lighter" side, but because of my low carb diet, I have to ask them to canoe my bread (rip out the insides and leave the crust). My husband and daughter have been urging me to give Pita Pit a try for years and so in a moment of crazy adventure I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Chicken Caesar Pita. It was amazing, and i loved that we had the option to heat it up. It is comparable in carbs, calories, and price to the Subway Chicken bacon ranch sandwich, but a fun alternative. The restaurant was clean, the employees were quick and professional. I will definitely be back. -
