I bought this due to terribly dry, red flaky lips due to winter weather. I do not feel it gives my lips more volume or plumpness. However, within a day of using I felt relief and my lips stopped burning. Immediate relief was awesome. This balm can be used daily and is clear, so like a lip gloss. I love that regular use over a few days repaired my dry chapped skin. And now it is a daily wear thing - unless i am wearing darker lipstick applicator). I like the light texture, not sticky! I wear it alone - it has a nice gloss and maybe a slight tint. It stays on for a couple hours before being reapplied.    -
