Thursday Plantation Medicated Acne Gel
I tried to use this medicated acne gel, but found the scent to be so unpleasant that you can taste it, and the fumes get up in to my eyes even though I put the product on my chin. I don't mind the smell of tea tree oil, but this smells like gas... +
I tried to use this medicated acne gel, but found the scent to be so unpleasant that you can taste it, and the fumes get up in to my eyes even though I put the product on my chin. I don't mind the smell of tea tree oil, but this smells like gas, which makes sense since it contains nearly 10% ethanol. I don't think I will be using this other than maybe on my body.

I liked trying this acne wash from PanOxyl. It was hydrating and gentle, and didn't seem to irritate my skin's hydration barrier. It left my skin feeling smooth and cleansed without being tight. It did seem to soothe my current breakouts, but I will need to use it for a longer term to see longterm results.

I did not like this mouth wash. I found the mint taste to be not very minty, but instead it was kind of chemical and weird. I did not see whitening. The instructions say to use after flossing and brushing, but as per dentists you are not supposed to rinse after brushing for the fluoride benefits? The sparkly bottle with the orange cap is pretty hideous.

Since it is very hydrating, it does make you look pretty shiny. It's a great body sunscreen; however, it leaves a bit of a white/purple cast so not ideal on the face. -

I feel like if you told me this was a handmade, local ingredient, old fashioned cream, I would be more impressed. Instead, I find it to be a bit outdated fragrance-wise, and not as hydrating as it claims. For example, using in on your hands after washing does not make your hands feel hydrated. It is undetectable on your skin the next day, no scent and no noticeable hydration improvement.
