I have been having issues over the last few years with acid reflux and esophageal inflammation. It is excruciating most of the time and there is nothing that really can help it. When I found out about this free trial, I was elated to give it a try. Now, I would have to use it for a bit longer to really get a feel of if its effectiveness. Today, I was having burning and discomfort so I tried it right away. It really did start helping immediately. The pain and irritation, which by now would be ruining my entire day, is drastically reduced, and I only took maybe half of the packet at most. The reason why I only took about half was because of the taste. Now, I am quite sensitive to certain tastes and textures. I am not a big fan of the texture but the taste, for me, is almost unbearable. Don’t get me wrong, it is terrible…I think the benefits of this product would outweigh the unpleasant taste. I am just sensitive to odd flavours and get nauseous easily. I am not sure I will be able to get myself to use it consistently as the directions say. It advises to use it up to 5 times a day, after every meal and once before bed. I can see myself probably having to force myself to use it when I notice the need and the pain and irritation/inflammation becomes unbearable. This product and the concept of it is great. I can see it providing relief and protection for many that suffer from these issues. Unfortunately, the taste is just so not for me. Maybe if it was somehow flavoured or able to be added to a small amount of liquid, I would be able to give it 5 stars. Nonetheless, it is effective.    -
