This film was pretty dark about the world of ballet and performance. Natalie Portman proves her acting chops as a ballerina who moves up in the ranks and slows loses herself in the madness of this world of performance. I think this won her the Oscar for the picture. A great film to watch. A cameo by Winona Ryder as well. -

The Face Shop Trendy Nails
I bought the Trendy Nails Top Coat for $3 which is pretty cheap. The quality of the Top Coat is horrible. It destroys your nail polish. Not a good sign, at all. I had on a Dior colour on and it ruined it. This sucks!

This stuff rolls away dead skin cells easily. Then rinse well with water. This doesn't irritate my skin. It works really well! It is pricey at $55 for a tube at Sephora. I'm thinking about it... -

I bought this moisturizer for my partner for a Valentine's Day gift. He normally doesn't use anything on his face and is in the dark about using facial products. I got it because he can slap some of this stuff on after shaving or coming out of the shower and before going out. It has an SPF- sun protection! He says it works nicely and has a nice light texture. Very encouraging to hear. This is a winner! -

This stuff took a little practice getting used to applying with an angled brush. You don't want to use too much or it can look a little severe. (I learned). A little bit of product goes along way. You're supposed to dab the excess off on the lid or on your hand. You need to use a good makeup remover since the product dries and it becomes waterproof. I got the Soft Brown since I have colour treated hair and it works for me. I have used powder and found that it doesn't do that great of a job. This is a better choice -
L'Occitane Cherry Blossom Hand Cream
I like the LOccitane products including the Cherry Blossom Hand cream. A little goes along way when you use this stuff. It has a lovely scent that's not over-powering. It's very moisturizing and helpful during the winter months. Worth trying!

This film was starring, written and the directorial debut by Joesph Gordon-Levitt whom I really like as an actor. This story wasn't that great for for me as he plays a macho guy who is really into himself with working out, being a porn addict, and mostly being a player with lots of personal issues including family and religion. It was an OK movie but it kind of bored me. It had Scarlett Johansson and Julianne Moore in it as well but they can't save the movie. This movie bombed! -

I received the Batiste dry shampoo sample from ChickAdvisor. This is my first time using a dry shampoo. I was quite surprised by the powerful aerosol spray, even from a far distance. I did notice that it leaves a bit of a white residue. This doesn't bother me, I massage the dry shampoo into my hair and scalp then I brush my hair. I noticed that my hair does feel conditioned by the dry shampoo. I usually have bad tangles when I wake it up but I don't when using this dry shampoo. My hair feels smooth and silky. I used this stuff when I was getting over a cold. It makes my hair smell nice. This worked quite well... Thanks ChickAdvisor! -
