I really wanted to like this product, but this dry shampoo just left me flat. I don't *hate* it, but I don't think it is great either, especially if it sells for the suggested price of $9.99 a can. I wish there was an option between "You Betcha!" and "Fugheddaboutit!" - it could be called "Meh".
First off, this has a really intense perfume-y scent. I used it in our small bathroom the first time I tried it and I seriously wished I had opened a window for better ventilation because it felt like I was inhaling perfume. Because of the intensity, I'd also be hesitant to use it in a locker room. I stop noticing the scent on myself as time passes, but I'm not sure if it is because it fades or if I just get used to it. It's not a bad scent - I just find it too intense.
To apply, shake can before use and spray directly onto oily roots from a distance of 20-25 cm (roughly 8-10 inches). You are then supposed to rub in using palm and brush out. I did this each time I tried it and it worked....okay. I found I needed to use a bit more of this product than other dry shampoos I have tried. It definitely mattifies any shine you might have from excess oil in the hair. It does initially look powdery and have a white-ish cast, but my hair has blonde highlights and I found that thoroughly patting and raking my hands through the roots made it blend in nicely. I'm not sure if blending in would be an issue with dark hair or not.
It does give a little texture and a bit of body at the roots. While I don't particularly care for the way this feels when my hair is down, I do think it works well when I'm attempting to do an updo with 2nd day hair. It gives it a little less slip so it will stay pinned up more securely, and I'm able to get a little lift at the roots too. If I were to purchase this, I would likely use it almost exclusively for this purpose.
I received this product for free as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. So would I purchase this myself? If I had plans to pin up my hair, and I was going to use it at home in a well-ventilated space, I might - but not for $9.99. The *most* I could see myself paying for this is around $6.99, which would make it comparable to what I have paid for got2b (which I also use specifically for up-dos). If I was looking just to freshen up my hair on a regular basis, I would pay a little more for Batiste. I feel like it freshens better with less product, they have a huge range of scents, and since they make varieties for medium and dark hair, it may be easier to blend in for some people.
It's not a bad product and as I said, I could see myself using it in certain circumstances, but I would not use this on a regular basis for the reasons I mentioned above. I think Dove has some great products, but this one is a miss for me personally. As always, your mileage may vary.

I love this set. I love how the granules step one are very very fine, unlike drugstore products that irritated my skin. Wet your face, use a dime size amount of step one and rub in circles over your face and neck for about two minutes and then rinse. I keep mine in the shower and do it twice a week. I prefer to use in the shower as it aids in removing all the tiny grains. My face feels so smooth and soft and my complexion looks brighter from removing all the dead skin. I really like the new Microdermabrasion Plus set where step two is a pore minimizer instead of the Replenish solution. I really notice a difference when I apply my makeup on days I use this set.
Love this. Have been using it for many years and through the change in formulation (step 2) and will continue to purchase

I like this...for certain situations. It does dry super quick so you need to move fast if you're using it on your cheeks - just do one at a time. I only use it on my cheeks when I'm not wearing foundation, like on a hot summer day when I don't want my makeup to melt off but I'd like a little bit of colour in my face. I wore this when we vacationed in Florida and I knew that a face full of cosmetics would not withstand the heat and humidity of long days running around outside. It held up well. I also use it on my lips but it is quite drying, so I follow with a lip balm and the colour stays put.
Would I wear this will full makeup? Probably not. It would be hard to blend the stain on cheeks quickly and not mess up foundation underneath, plus it is quite a subtle flush of colour. For me, I find it more appropriate to use when I'm going for a "no makeup" look.
I would recommend trying to find a deluxe sample size of this product before buying a large bottle because I can't imagine using up a big bottle before it expires. A sample size lasts me a long time. They are often included in Benefit's boxed sets, plus people often sell excess samples from subscription boxes and such and usually the prices are quite reasonable.

Every household should have this on hand. Sure, other dish soaps can do an adequate job cleaning dishes, but Dawn Ultra cuts grease like nothing else, and not just on dishes!
Do you ever get those mysterious grease marks on clothes that you only see after pulling them out of the dryer? I used to just try re-washing them and treating with laundry detergent, but the marks never came out once they had been through the dryer.
Dawn to the rescue! Simply soak the area liberally and let sit. Then, wash again in the hottest water the clothes can tolerate and you'll find the stains come right out! To me, that makes Dawn Ultra more than worth the money. It's a great multi-tasker!

My blood tests showed my iron was low but every pill I tried made me feel nauseated and caused digestive problems I couldn't deal with. I wasn't sure what other options I had and then someone recommended this liquid iron supplement that you add to a glass of juice each day.
Fast forward two months, my iron was fine, my energy was up and it didn't bother my stomach at all! Zero negative side effects for me! It has a slight metallic taste but when added to juice it is barely noticeable. It is gentle enough to be safe for pregnant women and children too.
If you have low iron and can't tolerate pills, I highly recommend giving this a shot. I order mine from Amazon.ca for the best price and get two months at a time. It normally comes from the UK so it may take a few weeks to arrive so I like to always have a month buffer.

I always keep these in the house. I find it so convenient to be able to quickly wipe down the bathroom between full cleanings and for cleaning off doorknobs, levers, taps and light switches, especially when someone in the house is sick. Everything looks better, it's quick and easy and I feel like I'm doing something to prevent the spread of germs. -

This place was a godsend when my slim, petite daughter was young. She was very small for her age and I loved that so many of their clothes came in slim fit and/or had adjustable waists. They have super cute stuff, but it pays to shop on the day they fill the clearance rack and to subscribe to their emails so you know when sales are happening in store or flash sales online. I don't believe a single thing we bought there wore out - I'm pretty impressed with the quality in general.
My only issue now that she is older (10) is I find some of the styles a little grown up for her and she's outgrowing things so quickly that it makes more sense to buy basics elsewhere and we mostly shop here for special occasion outfits and accessories.

Peter Thomas Roth Ultra-Lite Oil Free Moisturizer Moisturizing Gel Lotion is the perfect light-weight moisturizer for dehydrated combination to oily skin, but I believe it would work for all skin types. It contains hyalauronic acid which can hold something like 1000% its weight in water to help with those parched sections of your face, but it is oil-free and light weight so it's perfect for wearing during the daytime and under makeup. It's not sticky or greasy but it makes your skin smooth, soft and hydrated
Especially in the winter, I find my combination skin develops dehydrated sections that make my makeup go on patchy, look flaky and settle into fine lines. I find heavier moisturizers are too greasy to wear during the daytime and don't play nice with my foundation and concealer. This is just right! It nicely smooths the surface and plumps up those fine lines so product doesn't highlight them.
Highly recommend.

Love love love! These smell *so* good I just want to bury my nose in the clean laundry! I love that the scent sticks around for a long time too so that when I pull clean bedding out to make the bed I can still smell it. I used to use fabric softener (not because anything needed softening, but because I wanted a scent) but I feel like it gunks up the washer and I question whether it wears down fabrics faster. I used to like the other scent balls on the market, but once I smelled these, I switched.
Kind of pricey so I usually use them on bedding, towels and some of my own clothes and skip them for my husband and daughter's laundry since they don't really care. I also find it is often out of stock at places I like to shop too so that's a bit frustrating. Still, when I see it, I buy it!
