I'd recommend this bar to everyone looking for a more adult tasting granola bar, or as an alternative to chocolate bars. It has a great taste and texture, and makes a perfect snack! -

I was disappointed with the flavor of the Cherry & Pomegranate bar; cherries are usually my favorite, but really didn't love the taste of this bar. I think it's the pomegranate that gives it a funny aftertaste, which didn't go well with the chocolate. That being said, it was still one of the better tasting bars I've had. I enjoyed the texture, and the use of natural ingredients. I liked that the overall bar wasn't too sweet, and yet still felt like a treat. -

I received these bars as part of the Chick Advisor review. I really enjoyed the flavor of the Blueberry with Acai bar; it was the best tasting of all 3 bars. The dried blueberries really complemented the other ingredients, and tasted great with the chocolate. I found the bar had a really nice texture, and I loved the use of more natural ingredients like pumpkin seeds and rice. I'm not usually a fan of bars with chocolate on them, as they tend to be very sugary, but I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked these brookside bars. I would definitely recommend them as an adult snack/ treat! -

I received a sample size of this tinted lip balm from a paid subscription service. Given the other LAQA products I've tried, I was actually impressed with this one! The colour goes on sheer, in a light tint, and can be built up to be slightly darker. It's got a nice peppermint smell, and is actually quite effective as a lip balm; leaving my lips feeling moisturized. It's easy to use and comes in a chubby pencil style plastic tube. I would recommend it if you are a fan of Burts Bees tinted lip balms, and are looking for a brighter range of colours. The only downside is cost, at $20. -

I received a sample of this product through a subscription service.The chubby pencil shape makes for easy application and storage. I found the colour very orange, almost too orange. It's supposed to be a dual product for both lips and cheeks, but I couldn't imagine wearing such a bright orange as blush. The texture is nice and creamy. However, I found that the product tends to sit and accumulate in any creases or lines on my lips, making it look uneven. The full sized product costs $22. -

This is the second half of the Panda's Dream Duo. I originally bought this product because of the adorable packaging. I was pleased to find that the product is of good quality. It's a white eye cream, used as an under-eye base to help cover dark circles. I found it works fairly well. I have very pale skin, so this was a good match for me. I can see it looking weird and standing out on anyone with a tan or darker skin tones. I found it works best on it's own, when I'm in a hurry or don't feel like using cover-up. -

I found it helps with puffiness and under-eye bags, helps a little with colour. It's my favorite eye product right now, I love how my "eye bags" feel afterwards; I've got allergies and my eyes are often irritated, so this is a nice way to sooth them :)

The floral scent is really light and not overpowering.
I received a sample size of this dry-shampoo from a monthly subscription service. When I buy another dry shampoo I might opt for the original fragrance, floral didn't really suit me. I found it similar to the Amika dry shampoo.

My first impression: a thick, very rich feeling face cream. It absorbed well on my hands, but I found it a little heavy on my face; maybe I had put on too much. It had a subtle floral scent, maybe lilacs?
The next Night: I found it was quite heavy, and left my skin feeling a bit sticky afterwards. However, it definitely felt moisturized the next morning.
After using it for a couple nights, I broke out in a rash! I had tiny red bumps all along my cheeks, forehead, and jawline. I took an anti-histamine, and washed the cream off, and the bumps had gone by the next night.
I'm wondering if I reacted to the fragrance, or a particular compound in the cream.
I tried the cream a few more times, and in different places, but still ended up with a rash.
