I’ve never tried the Blue Lizard Australian Sunscreen brand before but was excited to be sent the Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen with SPF 50+ to take on my vacation.
This is Blue Lizard’s strongest UV protection which I appreciate as I have very sensitive skin so SPF 50+ is ideal for me. Also the fact that this used a mineral formula of Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide vs irritating chemical active ingredients is what I look for in sunscreens. It is also reef safe.
This sunscreen worked well and it protected my skin in direct sunlight and even after swimming. I reapplied after 80 minutes and did not get sunburn like I have in the past. Unfortunately this sunscreen is runny and you really need to rub it in to avoid white cast. For this reason, I would continue using the sunscreen but would not put this on the top of my list as a repurchase.

The CLEAN RESERVE H2EAU collection perfume in scent Nectarine Petal is an advanced water-based formula which I appreciate as my skin can become irritated with rollerball perfume however this one caused no redness or itchiness after applying. The scent is a light and refreshing fruity mush which I loved.
I tested this on my wrists, near my ears and collarbone area to see how long the scent lasted. The scent was no longer noticeable after about 4 hours. This might also depend on how much perfume is applied but I would definitely use this for a short night out or bring it with me to reapply throughout the day.
I love that the packaging is modern, convenient and compact for travel and is also recyclable. This product is also vegan, not tested on animals, and is eco-conscious and sustainable. Since I really enjoyed the scent, I would likely purchase it again in future.

Although the packaging is modern and premium looking, I feel that YSC really missed the mark with the sizing of the packaging as this is the largest mascara I have ever seen and is too large to put in your purse for a night out in my opinion.
This mascara claims 48 hours of extreme volume but I’m not sure who would ever need to wear their mascara for that long. It is also waterproof, heat-proof & sweat proof so looking forward to testing this out more in the summer. The mascara lasted a full day of wear and it was difficult to get off during my nightly skincare routine so agree that it is waterproof.
The formula was thick and the Double-Conical brush wand was large which made it more difficult to apply. I understand that this is intended to hold more formula so you can do multiple coats and provides up to 400% buildable volume. I typically only do two coats with any mascara so this is how I compared it to other mascara I typically use. I did like the mascara and it did provide volume but I’m not sure that I would truly use this mascara to its full buildable potential.
Although this brand is premium and the price tag speaks for itself, I did not see a major difference between other drugstore brands mascaras to justify purchasing this mascara in the future.

I was sent the new VanHoutte keurig k-cup 10pack cold brew coffee in flavour hazelnut medium roast to test out. I used my over ice coffee setting on my keurig machine and found that it worked great although I would recommend using more than 3 ice cubes preferably as they still melt quickly on this setting. This setting also brews a small amount of coffee so remember that milk or choice of creamer is recommended to make this cold brew taste how it should. I really enjoyed this coffee after the addition of milk and sugar. I wish the hazelnut flavour was more noticeable but that is my only complaint as the coffee was still smooth and flavourful. I enjoyed trying this cold brew flavour out and would likely purchase it again in future.

I found the pen to be stylish and comfortable to use however I don’t think that this product is very effective vs plucking as it only cuts the hair and doesn’t pull it out completely. I found ever after going over the same spot several times, there was still hairs that the pen didn’t catch. The little light that turns on is also not helpful in my opinion nor would it do much if someone ever needed to fix their eyebrows in a dimely lit room. Unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this to friends or family.

The Aveeno Calm + Restore Age Renewal Serum
I used these products in my night routine and noticed that my skin felt nourished and smoother after continuous use. My skin did not have any discomfort or sensitivity to this product. I would purchase this product again in future. #freeproduct from @thisisbutterly

I like that the age renewal line is fragrance free and has Vitamin B3, Colloidal oatmeal and the addition of cranberry extract which is a plant-based retinol alternative with antioxidant-rich peptides clinically proven to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Aveeno Calm + Restore Age Renewal Eye Gel
I used this in my night routine and saw an improvement in crow’s feet as well as reducing under eye dullness and dark circles. My eye area felt refreshed and hydrated immediately after use. My only concern is that the size of this product is only 14g so you won’t get too many uses out of it.

I’m a big fan of the Aveeno Calm+ Restore line and already use a variety of the products on a daily basis (gel moisturizer, cleanser and body wash) so was excited to try out their hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic daily moisturizer face cream with 100% mineral actives with SPF 30 coverage.
Since I like to keep my skincare routine simple, I appreciate that this is a two in one product with both SPF and a moisturizer. This was a lightweight moisturizer which adsorbs well into the skin and didn’t leave a white cast or greasy feeling. I love that this face cream also includes Colloidal Oatmeal and Feverfew to provide soothing all-day moisture without causing any skin sensitivity or irritation. The fact that this cream is also fragrance-free, paraben-free, phthalate-free, dye-free, alcohol-free, and non-comedogenic which helps to not clog your pores makes it a brand that I can trust with my sensitive skin.
This also comes in a nice 48ml travel size container which makes it convenient for trips where you have a carry on. I would definitely recommend this to others and am looking forward to also using it on some upcoming trips.

I received the new Energize Body Cleanser and Restorative Body Cream by brand Grown Alchemist through @thisisbutterly and @grownalchemist for free and here are my thoughts.
I am familiar with the Grown Alchemist brand and have tried one of their products before so was excited when I received these body products.
In the middle of winter, it is difficult to keep my skin moisturized but these two products definitely helped.
The Energize Body Cleanser is a low foaming lightweight gel with a strong scent of chamomile, bergamot and rose which reminds of the spa. I liked the lather of this body cleanser and felt that this cleanser gently cleansed my skin and removed impurities. I like that the scent wasn’t overpowering and left a faint scent after showering.

I am familiar with the Grown Alchemist brand and have tried one of their products before so was excited when I received these body products.

The Restorative Body Cream had a nice scent of mandarin and rosemary leaf. I found the body cream to be very creamy and luxurious however I did not think it was fast adsorbing as I had to rub it in for a while before the white cast disappeared. It was not greasy and felt that it left my skin moisturized and smelling great. If you’re sensitive to smells, I wouldn’t apply this before bed as the scent can be strong. #Grownalchemist #GAbody
