This was my first time trying a cleansing oil and I was very happy with how well it worked. I expected to need a second cleanse, as is my routine after makeup, but none was necessary. I felt as if it removed all the makeup and dirt and didn't leave any oily residue as my previous cleansing stick had. However, it is scented and while not totally overwhelming, the scent doesn't disappear after it is washed off and is just a bit too much for me. I was very pleased to have been sent the sample and think this would be a go to product if it were unscented and a bit cheaper than what is listed. However, the tiny sachet did work for three uses for me, so a little goes a long way. -

I really love the idea of serum mascara. I was very excited to be selected to review the Covergirl Simply Ageless Lash Plumping mascara #gotitfree . Unfortunately, though I will continue to it to try and get the longer term benefits of thicker, stronger and longer lashes in a month, I didn’t find it to be great as a mascara.
It’s certainly usable, and I’ve definitely used worse. However, I prefer a more dramatic lash that wasn’t achievable with this product even after 3 coats.
I’ve yet to see any of the serum effects but if after the full month I do I may change my mind and be willing to accept a serum that is an acceptable mascara as my go to if it actually makes a big difference to actual condition of my lashes overall.
In the meantime it’s just an okay mascara.
