This pandemic has been awful enough for frontline workers like me, and it’s done a number to my hands as well. The constant hand washing, and sanitizing has literally created cracks all over my hands. They got so sore that I could not use them without gloves at one point. (I like hot water too, I know it doesn’t help.) I finally decided to try some heavy duty lotion, a really popular “work approved” cream, and it worked for maybe a day. I work in a fast paced environment, so it’s either I use the restroom, check my emails, eat a bite, or apply lotion. Enter Glysomed. After a friend admitted she used it nightly with gloves overnight, I tried the same. And I can’t use anything else now. It’s in my bag, my locker, my car. It’s my favourite. A little goes a long way, and it lasts a while!! -

These are the best after a really long day. The smell is out of this world, and it leaves the skin so soft. I lived in a rented home for 3 years that only had a standing shower and I missed these bombs so much that I would get a nice hotel room at least 3 times a year, so I could pamper myself properly in a nice big jacuzzi tub. Highly recommend! -

I used to buy this mascara in high school and it was my absolute favourite drugstore mascara. Although I’ve been cycling through more expensive brands lately, I always have one of these (specifically the waterproof) in my bag. It builds great volume, separates really well, and lasts all day. What more could you need? It’s a good option for everyday, when you want to add a little something extra to your morning routine. I find adding a little mascara makes a big difference especially during this pandemic, where all anyone sees is our eyes. -

I’ve been enjoying Yuzu for years here in my city in Ontario Canada. It’s not extremely rare like they boast online. The fresh stuff maybe, but I’ve been using high quality Yuzu juice fur years, like I said. Immediately, I turned over the container to read the ingredients, and no where does it read “Yuzu juice/flavour”. I’m glad it was so cheap, cause it’s a waste of even the toonie. In hind sight, I probably should have realized it was garbage, BECAUSE it was so cheap. A little bottle of the real stuff can set you back over $20 if you go to the right places. I’ll stick to making my own lemonade from now on. -

I’ve always been a Dove kinda chick, but I opted to try out The new Degree deodorant, and I’m glad I did! Most of the time, lavender can be very overwhelming upon opening a new health and beauty product, but I was pleasantly surprised by the very nice fresh, subtle, clean smelling scent. Not only did it smell quite lovely, it lasted all day! I like knowing it’s aluminum free, as that has always been important to me. Definitely great value for your dollar, the Degree stick is much larger than my usual favourite. -

I have been purchasing Canada Dry products for as long as I can remember, so when I had heard that they would be following suit of other premium brands in providing their consumer with a delicious, refreshing, more superior option- I was thrilled. I love using Canada Dry in my cocktails, so when I tried the premium ginger ale, it was in a cocktail. It paired perfectly with a bit of spiced rum, and lime juice. I can see myself use this light, crisp, and bubbly option for the holidays! -
