I received this body scrub to try thanks to Butterly. This body scrub is lovely! The scent is mild and relaxing. The little scrubbers make the body scrub gritty but not too abrasive. I was surprised by how soft my skin was after using this body scrub only once! I look forward to seeing the results after long term use. The tube only has 227g so I don’t think it will last as long as my usual body scrub which is double the size. A larger size at a lowe price would make it a 5 star product! -
Schmidt's Charcoal + Magnesium Natural Deodorant
This natural deodorant is good and does the job. You do need to follow directions and place under your armpit momentarily to soften or else yikes! All in all a good deodorant.

I liked to use this product as a primer prior to applying makeup to my face. The scent is not overpowering and the product is not greasy. I cannot comment on the effectiveness as a sunscreen as I live in a climate where I haven't been able to be outside in sun long enough yet. It did give my skin a bright boost. -

I expected this serum to be greasy and sticky but it wasn't at all. The consistency is much nicer than what I expected! The serum has a shimmer to it which makes your skin shiny but not greasy looking. It overall does what it says it will do. But if you're looking at trying out one of the products from this line, I'd recommend trying the gel cream first. I'm not sure I see the necessity to use both products unless you want to use a cream and serum in your daily skincare routine. -

Neutrogena, once again created a product that does what it says it will do. This gel cream is a nice texture and not overly greasy. It has a shimmer to it, which I think is what helps your skin look dewey and glow throughout the day. A little product goes a long way so the container will last a long time. It made my skin softer and smoother, and overall healthier looking. I would recommend to others who are looking for a bright boost. -

I received this product to try as part of Chick Advisor Review Club. The scent is pleasant but not overpowering. I like the consistency of the cream, it’s not greasy. A little goes a long way. I started noticing a difference in my skin after the third day, it was brighter and the wrinkles in my forehead weren’t as noticeable. However, by day 5, my skin burned when I put the cream on and my skin started to flake. I thought of stopping the use of the cream but researched retinol and learned that this is common and passes after regular use so I continued. I used it every other day for awhile like the instructions on the container suggested, then continued with daily use once I felt my skin was ready for it. I am very happy with the results and definitely have noticed a big improvement on my forehead wrinkles (which is currently my biggest wrinkle concern). Do your research, be prepared for some potential burning sensations and know that it will pass and the results will be worth it! -

I was excited to try this new deodorant from Dove and was fairly happy with it. The scent was pleasant but not overbearing. I was able to test it out on an extremely hot and humid day where I attended an outdoor fitness class. I applied prior to the class and found that it held up throughout the whole class, despite the obvious amount of perspiration! I did reapply after class just to be sure I would be protected until I had a chance to shower. The only thing that I’m not too keen on is the tacky, damp feeling this deodorant has when applied. The feeling never seems to go away so I always feel like my armpits are a little sticky, however this is common for deodorants that are aluminum free. If you’re looking for an aluminum free deodorant, this one is good value and worth a try! -

Some may find the scent of this product strong but I found it pleasant. I used this product for almost two weeks and certainly noticed a difference in the texture of my skin. The oil isn’t greasy and is quickly absorbed in the skin, leaving it soft and smooth. I was worried that I would break out from using oil on my face but that wasn’t the case at all. The only thing that I will say is that retinol can be quite strong and although it worked well on my face, when I first started using it, I made the mistake of applying it to my neck area as well. The skin there was too sensitive and the product caused a painful rash on my neck. Lesson learned, keep it to the face and you will be happy with the results! -
