I love that this is rechargable via usb, so I never have to worry about running it of power and ensuring I have a spare battery on hand.

The bulbs are plastic so that they would wear well outdoors and you don't have to worry about the shattering or breaking. The only drawback is that as the core is black, the cord can be a bit of an eyesore so this string of lights is best nested into a garland, greenery, or somewhere out doors. -
