Yes there is mild sting at 1st after you pull but nothin awful. Im really very happy with this.. no red bump upon new hair growth no ingrown hairs and the hair was finer that came back. This did not irritate my skin or pull any skin. I will definitely use again. If you wanna try a waxing kit this is the one to try. Great product -

Left my skin feeling so soft and moisturizing without leaving it greasy. And i didn't break out. Which i was concerned about. This stuff is really great. And has a nice mild scent. You should definitely give this a try .
