I didn't see the Book of Life in the theatres because it didn't appeal to me then. My daughter received a copy for her Birthday and I was amazed at the stunning beauty of the film. The story is entertaining for both kids and adults and the characters are well cast. Great fun for family night. -
Into the Woods (2013)
Loved this movie. Haven't had a chance to see the live performance, but after seeing the original with Bernadette Peters, I knew I had to see this version. Amazing cast with excellent voices, a Sondheim classic score and excellent theatricality... +

Amazing cast with excellent voices, a Sondheim classic score and excellent theatricality. Even my 7 year old enjoyed it after she said she didn't want to see it. Meryl Streep plays an excellent Witch and the rest of the cast is very entertaining. Lilla Crawford is stunning as Little Red Riding Hood - this kid will have a long future in Broadway. Anna Kendrick is perfect as Cinderella and Chris Pine plays a fabulously devious Prince - 'I said I'd be charming, not faithful' (paraphrase). -

I was skeptical. I never thought this product would actually work the way they say it does, but damn it got rid of every heel crack and callus. It took about 7-8 days to start working (which added to my skepticism), but when it did, it was awesome (in a gross, skin peeling kind of way).
I suggest you have everything you need at hand before you slip the booties on because they are a slip hazard. Soak your feet for at least 10 minutes before you use the booties - this step really helps. I didn't think anything would save my heels, but now my feet are sandal ready. Seriously. Even after a month post-application, just minimal maintenance is required. This product is this summer's MUST HAVE. Just make sure you use it about 7-14 days before you plan on wearing your sexy heels. Using a loofah to remove the last bits of skin really helps too.
Tip: try putting a pair of your socks over the booties to keep them closer to your feet to ensure the application of the goo is successful. It feels really weird and goopy, but I didn't have any tingling or stinging.
Worth every penny.

Better than the first movie, the sequel seems to find its pace. Can't wait for the new Avengers movie!

Gotta love this movie! I didn't realize it was based on a Marvel comic until we stayed through the end credits for the additional scene. Great story and quite funny. Good for kids and adults. Definitely recommend!
