I've been a member of Goodlife for 2 years. One of the things I like best about Goodlife is that your membership is good at most locations so depending on what's convenient for me, or where a class is happening, I can go to a variety of different spots.
My main location is at Yonge & St Clair. They have a LOT of cardio machines, you never have to wait, even at 5:30 on a week day. Lots of weight machines too, so again, not a lot of waiting or there's at least one other alternative to each type of machine.
The locker rooms are really clean and have good sized lockers. Gets crowded after work, but what can you do?
Goodlife has some great classes as well. My fav is Body Jam - an hour of choreographed dancing to great music. The instructors get really into it and no one cares if you're missing the steps - it's too much fun!

I've been getting my hair cut with Tailor at Civello Queen for the past 2 years and she does a great job everytime.
My hair is a bit strange, really curly but the bottom layer is more straight with a bit of wave. I've gone to a bunch of other stylists who didn't take the time to get to know my hair and ended up with horrible hair cuts (curly part up around my ears, straighter bits down around my shoulders - not good!). Tailor usually cuts my hair dry so it looks great dry and really works with my curls.

I have crazy curls and this has become one of my main products. I mix it with a little bit of styling cream and scrunch it into my curls. It keeps them from frizzing and smells amazing. I was a bit leary of the price, but one bottle lasts me for about 6 months so well worth it!

The balance games are fun and I like the yoga.
I wouldn't expect to loose weight from using the wii fit, but I think it's a fun add on to a fitness routine. Just be prepared for your Mii to look a bit tubby if your weight flucuates.

Pure and Simple has a few locations. I go to either the Yorkville or Yonge & Eglinton location.
I've been going for regular Urban Renwal Facials for about 2 years and I've noticed a big improvement in my skin.
The Urban lasts about an hour, maybe a little longer depending on your esthetician. Two masks, steaming, extraction and a wonderful leg, neck and arm massage. I'm totally relaxed when I leave and my skin is glowing.
Pure and Simple also sells their own line of skin care products. Everything that has been recommended to me that I've tried has been great.

I go between two locations of this gym - Yonge & Charles and Peter & Richmond. The Peter & Richmond location is newer, more spacious and is never crowded.
Yonge & Charles has been under renovations for the 2 years that I've been a member there. The renovations are definlently improving the place, but I'm looking forward to it all being done. Lots of machines, you never need to wait. But there are many machines out of order.
There's been a lot of staff turn over in the time I've been a member. I think there have been at least 4 different managers. They are easily identifiable and friendly, but I'm not sure how qualified they are to be tagged as "trainers". The introductory training sessions is really just how to use the machines. I tried to book another session to take things up a notch, but didn't get much info.
You can't beat the price though and the hours aren't bad. If you want a basic gym without any extras (tv's, rentable lockers, towel service) than I recommend it.
