This has an unctuous, rich and hydrating texture, with a lightly fruity fragrance that matches the shampoo in this range. It is part of a three step haircare programme, but the conditioner has a completely different fragrance from the shampoo and masque so I'm not sure there is a continuity between the products. Between using this and the conditioner, my hair looks like it needs washing more often than I regularly do but it feels happy and healthy. -

I like that this is part of a curated haircare routine. It smells beautifully rich, with Shea butter notes but I would have liked it to match the fragrance of the shampoo as, otherwise, it feels less like a comogenous range. My hair feels nourished and smooth but is so effectively hydrated that I feel my hair looks as if it needs washed sooner than usual as it can look a tad greasy rather than moisture laden. -

As soon as you open the sachet the mask starts to warm up. I found the loops that go around the ears easy to fit, and the mask is soft and feels comfortable on my face.
The warmth is soothing and relaxing but I don't know why it's described as a steam mask as there is no steam or heated moisture. To appeal to more people it could be much more stylish. Currently, it looks a little like a panty liner with loops. I would have found it a much more relaxing experience if my other half wasn't laughing his head off every time he looked at me.

I've used a lot of John Frieda products so was interested to try this to see how it would help with brassy tones on my blonde hair. First off, it's a huge tube so will last for ages. I've used Bioré nose strips in the past so was intrigued to try the new Witch Hazel and Tea Tree Oil Deep Cleansing Pore Strips. The strips stuck very well on my wet nose and stayed in place until it was time to remove them. They were very satisfying to remove, making me feel they were pulling out all the nasties from my pores, and I could see the results on the strip. However, I could still see some clogged pores afterwards so it's good but could be even better if it unclogged all pores. -

I was excited to try this as I think I have only used Bioré nose strips before so I was intrigued to try the new products added to their range. With their expertise in unclogging pores, a cleanser seems like a natural addition and I like that it is different from other cleansers I've tried.
It has a slightly soapy, yet fresh, botanical fragrance and gives a gentle lather. What makes this different from other cleansers is the refreshingly zingy, cooling effect on my skin. It's like my face has had a blast of fresh, Arctic air, enhancing the deep cleansing properties and leaving my skin feeling purified and refreshed.

This lightly whipped mask works it's magic in just 5 minutes so, even with a busy lifestyle, I can still find time for a mini pamper that not only deep cleans my skin, it detoxes too, lifting away the effects of daily pollution and impurities on my face.
This mask is beautifully light and I love how cooling and soothing it feels on my face, and my skin feels refreshed and super clean after using. Containing blue agave and baking soda, the texture of the mask is lovely and smooth. A little goes a long way so this generous sized tube should last a while.

I received this shampoo, along with its conditioner partner, for reviewing purposes. I wasn't previously a fan of Dove shampoo as I had tried their original shampoo years ago and it left me nearly clawing my scalp off as it irritated my scalp so much, which was unexpected given that it was meant to be a gentle, moisturising product to use.
I have this impression of Dove being a bit of a mumsy brand but I really liked the style and design of the bottle. Much more sleek and contemporary than I expected. And the product felt rich yet gentle on my scalp and hair, working into a beautiful lather which rinsed off well, leaving nothing behind but silky soft hair that felt nourished and cared for from the very first use.

I was privileged to receive this product as part of the Philips product tester panel and I absolutely love it. Easy to use, it allows you to set it to the intensity that is best for your skin and hair colour (it works best when there is a noticeable contrast between the two. I have very fair skin with light brown body hair. If you have blonde body hair and fair skin, or dark hair and dark skin, it may not work so well.
Holding it against the skin, when it's correctly positioned the light bar at the rear of the device lights up white and you can press the trigger to release a pulse of laser light which targets hair follicles and over a period of use causes them to fall out with minimal regrowth.
As directed, I used it every two weeks over a six week period initially and noticed less body hair, and what was remaining was finer and less noticeable. I continue to use it fortnightly to remove any existing hair and to prevent further regrowth and I am delighted with the results.
I know some people are worried it may be painful to use but I just get a warming sensation on my skin which is actually quite pleasant and relaxing. There is a bright flash as each pulse is delivered to the skin but it is safe on the eyes so no need for safety glasses or goggles. It's not cheap so it's a considered purchase but if you add up the cost of salon waxing or laser treatment, it's quite good value.
