I love a great matte lip and add this gorgeous shade of red and you’d think it would be a home run. No No No in my Destiny’s Child voice. Maybelline color sensational Vivid Matte liquid lipstick left me scratching my head,the first thing I noticed was a strong fragrance almost like I’d sprayed perfume on my lips,the second thing I noticed was the matte was not a true matte it was a little glossy even after leaving it on a while. I also noticed some stinging I’m assuming it was due to the crazy amount of fragrance added to this product. This particular shade of red looks very similar to a Stila lip cream that I’m in love with which excited me, but once I applied Maybelline Vivid Matte I found this red was not at all flattering to my brown skin. And lastly this left me #afraid to try any new Maybelline lip products.    -
