Like that it is in a tube so that your fingers only touch the product that you need and not risk contaminating the rest of the product in the container. Sometimes, I use a washcloth to rinse it off to exfoliate my skin. However, Burt's Bees also carries a face scrub which I use about once or twice a week. -
