Every time I get the tingle feeling of a cold sore starting, I always grab one of these patches and apply right away. It reduces the time of having the cold sore significantly! And once the cold sore comes out, I find these patches numb the pain and swelling, as well as hides the appearance of the cold sore. I prefer these over any cream or ointment.    -
