I purchased Sun Bum Baby Bum - Coconut Balm for my own personal use, because when it was on sale at my local grocery store, I opened the lid and I was enticed by the delicious coconut dessert-scent. I have used this balm on my dry lips before bedtime to sooth the dryness. I would also use this balm for any other dry skin areas. -

As a person with keratosis pilaris (bumpy skin) on my forearms and especially the backs of my arms, I tried the CeraVe Renewing SA Lotion because it is formulated for rough and bumpy skin, like mine. I like that it contains 3% salicylic acid, which is difficult to find over-the-counter. I also like that it contains ammonium lactate to further smooth the skin surface.
I felt a noticeable difference in the smoother texture of the tops and backs of my arms after only one night of use. I did develop a slight rash on my arms after using this lotion for consecutive days. I will try using this lotion every other day, as my skin may be too sensitive for daily use.

I was very pleased with the Garnier Fructis Style Big Volume Spray - Extreme Hold because it holds the style on my long, thick hair. It dispenses a fine mist, so it's not too heavy and has a light scent. I first blow dry my hair section-by-section with a round brush. Then, once it's dry, I spray a light mist of this hairspray in a halo-motion, including the ends and the underside and then I brush it through. This way, when I use my curling iron to curl my ends inward, it holds the style. Once I'm done curling, I use a volumizing powder at the top of my hair to back-comb and finish by spraying this hairspray all over to set the style from roots to ends. I will purchase this hairspray again because the added bonus is that it's a large can at an affordable price. -

COLAB Volume Dry Shampoo + is an effective spray-on hair powder that I use at the crown with a fine-toothed comb to get height at the top. When I spray the product the suggested 20 cm away from the hair, I find that it still applies a noticeably white layer of powder, so I comb it lightly at the surface of my hair and then back-comb. I finish by brushing the surface of my hair lightly into place and spraying with a light coat of fine-mist setting hair spray. -

I apply a white nail polish as a base coat first, to make the neon pop and then I apply two coats of 'After Glow'. It doesn't take too long to dry, especially if you apply two thin layers. I like that the brush tip is wide and contoured to the shape of the nail for easier application. I follow up with a shiny, quick-drying top coat for added length of wear and to boost the glossy shine. -

The word that comes to mind when describing this product once it's applied to the skin, is 'soothing', with its thick, balm-like texture. I love Aveeno products and did not hesitate to try the Aveeno Clear Complexion Purely Matte Peel Off Mask. I followed the instructions and applied a generous amount and let it dry for 15-20 minutes. Once the mask was dry and I was ready to remove it, I found that it dried to a too-thin layer and it was very difficult and time-consuming to peel off. I did like that it smoothed the surface of my skin. If this face mask was reformulated to dry to a thicker layer that’s easier to peel off, I would consider using it again. #gotitfree -

Annabelle Skinny Brow Liner in Universal Light is my favourite brow liner. The micro-pencil is perfect for precisely lining the eyebrows and the swivel means no sharpening required. The colour is ideal for my thin, barely-there brows. It's not too grey and not too warm. In my case, it's a neutral shade of light brown when applied. This brow liner lasts throughout the day and does not smudge. I prefer using a micro-pencil such as this one, over a brow pomade, powder or gel, because the precision of a micro-pencil gives a very neat, tidy appearance to the brows. -
