The PanOxyl Clarifying Exfoliant was such a great addition to my skincare routine. This product is a gentle leave-on exfoliating treatment that has Salicylic Acid which works well on my skin and generally helps with exfoliation. I just put some of the product on a cotton pad and applied to my face. The results were that it exfoliated the dry skin off my face and made it smooth to the touch. Something I did notice is that when I apply the product, it does sting initially however the feeling goes away after a couple seconds. It also dries a bit tacky on the face but that’s not a big concern.

I was a bit hesitant to use this PanOxyl Daily Cleansing Acne Wash as it contains benzoyl peroxide. I was concerned that it might be too harsh for my skin. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the cleanser did a great job at removing oil and dirt and leaving my skin feeling fresh and clean. I did notice that my skin got slightly red when I was using it and it made my skin feel dry. Thus, I had to follow up with the moisturizer straight after. Besides that, I would recommend the product as the cleanser does what it’s supposed to do.

I received a sample of the PanOxyl PM Blemish Brightening Patches that came with 4 triangle patches which was a surprise and nice change to the normal circle patches. The Triangle size patches also provide the most coverage which is something I appreciate. Some key ingredients in the patches include niacinamide, tranexamic acid and Vitamin C which aid in fading spots, marks and making the skin look brighter. I can’t say what the results would’ve been in 10 days but the 4 patches that I did receive helped to improve my skin a little. I could see there was a slight improvement on my spot marks and the skin looked brighter in the area. It also decreased the redness of my skin a little.

At first, the scent smelled like a cleaner of some sorts or a laundry detergent however after giving the scent some time, it grew on me. I tried applying the fragrance on myself for the second time, and I very much enjoyed it. The fragrance gave hints of freshness and was not too citrus-y which made a nice blend. It’s a unique smell however it does not last very long. I appreciate that the fragrance comes in a rollerball so it’s easy to apply and re-apply if needed.

I received the Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Face Moisturizer for free from Butterly in exchange for my review. I really enjoyed using this Aveeno product as its both a daily moisturizer and a sunscreen with SPF 30. It was very easy to apply and smooth to the touch; also made my skin feel soft. However, you have to work fast with the product as it absorbs into the skin really quickly. This Aveeno product is also super lightweight, blends into my skin and doesn’t irritate it. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a two in one moisturizer and sunscreen. -

I received this Sambucol Black Elderberry Powdered Drink for immunity cold and flu relief plus vitamin C from Butterly and I would recommend this product to adults and children. It has a good taste and it’s not bitter at all. The drink was very easy and quick to make as it dissolves instantly when you put it in water. The powdered drink has a hint of sweetness and after drinking it to help relieve my sore throat, I felt better. If the drink is too strong for you, I’d recommend adding more water to the mix but I see myself buying this for myself in the near future to help keep my immunity strong.
